Sporting a cover that makes use of a few more (ahem) 'assets' than the previously seen Us artwork, the titular creature of Black Water Vampire will be coming in to roost on UK DVD on March 24th, courtesy of Image Entertainment.

Back in May we got our first look at Bill Oberst, Jr., in the found footage saga of The Black Water Vampire, and now, with Image Entertainment set to release the film in early 2014, a trailer has arrived. Check it out, and look for more soon.
Jesse Baget (Breathless, Cellmates) wrote and produced the film under his Ruthless Pictures banner. Evan Tramel directed. In addition to Bill Oberst, Jr., The Black Water Vampire stars Danielle Lozeau (The Eye, Legion), Andrea Monier (Elizabethtown, Are You Scared 2), Robin Steffen (The Lackey), and Anthony Fanelli.
The Black Water Vampire follows a documentary film crew as they investigate a series of brutal killings known as the Black Water Murders. As they delve deeper into the story, the crew stumbles upon a horrifying secret buried deep in the woods, a secret they might not survive.

SundanceNOW and IFC Midnight announced today that the companies are jointly acquiring all U.S. rights to director Eric Walter’s documentary My Amitvyille Horror.
SundanceNOW will handle the film for its subscriber video-on-demand (Svod) initiative Doc Club, while IFC Midnight will manage all other platforms, including theatrical and VOD release. The film, which was produced by Walter, Andrea Adams, and John R. Blythe and executive produced by Ronald Puleio and Michael S. Russo, made its world premiere at Fantasia International Film Festival in July and its U.S. premiere at Fantastic Fest in September.
On November 10th it will have its New York premiere at the Doc NYC Festival.
