IFC Midnight have acquired the rights to Jennifer Kent's Aussie horror 'The Babadook' for distribution across the Us. The chilling tale of a storybook that holds the key to a mysterious creature haunting Amelia and her 6 year old son Samuel had some response at this months Sundance festival which obviously drew the attention's of IFC. There's no official release date planned just yet but we're sure it's being lined up for a roll out later this year.
