John Krasinski’s family film, If, will be showcasing a special big game commercial during Super Bowl Lviii. And to tease audiences, we’re treated to a little behind-the-scenes video hosted by Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski. Except, Krasinski may seem slightly different than you remember. This is because Randall Park once again steps in for Krasinski in a nod to the famous bit from The Office where Park played “Asian Jim” in an attempt to freak out Rainn Wilson’s Dwight. This time, the film’s star, Ryan Reynolds, is the one not buying this little prank. But as best as he tries to call him out, Krasinski remains two steps ahead with a behind-the-scenes video complete with Park as Krasinski.

“What kind of kid creates an invisible If?” Reynolds questions at one point in the trailer as he forms an unlikely bond with Bea over her imaginary creatures hatched by childhood minds. In the end, If promises viewers they may find the inner kid in all of us as “You have to believe to see” becomes the tagline for the Paramount pic set to hit theaters...

New details about the bizarre day-to-day conflicts in the Trump White House have been revealed.
Former chief of staff John Kelly admitted to New York Times journalist Michael Schmidt that he often had to mediate fights between Melania, 52, and Ivanka Trump, 41, as the two women competed for influence.
Schmidt talked about his 2020 book Donald Trump v. The United States in a recent interview with MSNBC where he was asked about the claim that Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, wanted to “perform the ceremonial duties and have the status of a First Lady.”

When looking at all the tortured anti-heroes in the Marvel Universe, it needs to be said that some of them have been subjected to more punishment than others. One of those that hasn’t been given his due yet for various reasons is Deathlok, the original one, aka John Kelly. There’s plenty of evidence that Donald Trump wanted to be treated like a dictator, that he frequently butted heads with military leaders, and that his ignorance of history knew no bounds. It shouldn’t be that surprising, then, how the former president reached back to World War II in trying to explain the kind of absolute loyalty he expected from America’s generals.

As Akiva Goldsman’s Weed Road production company and Paramount Pictures close a new deal, rumours have surfaced that Goldsman could finally bring to life Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six and that Ryan Reynolds is being lined up to take the lead.
Deadline has reported that “loose talks” have commenced with the Deadpool actor to play Clancy’s Mercenary Hero Ex-Navy Seal, John Clark – In the novel, Clark, becomes head of an international task force to combat terrorism. It has been nearly six years since police on Long Island, New York, discovered the first of more than 10 dead bodies on Gilgo Beach linked to the so-called Long Island Serial Killer.
Though no suspects have been identified, the victims’ friends and family know this: The killer — or killers — enjoys taunting them.
Sara Karnes, a friend of Maureen Brainard-Barnes, the first of the victims to disappear, says she got an odd call a few days after the 25-year-old vanished in 2007.

Time to finally dig out that mouldy Lycra cosplay outfit: after over 10 years in the making, a real, actual Deadpool film will finally arrive in 2016.
Better still, Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Wade Wilson - while simultaneously trying to forget his earlier X-Men Origins: Wolverine appearance. The story will revolve around his birth through the top secret Weapon X military programme, and a conflict with fellow Weapon X-er Ajax. But the real star of the show? Guns, bad puns, and Deadpool breaking the fourth wall like a boss.

Aw, check this cuteness out initiates! Here's an adorable new picture of Veronica Roth on the set of the "Divergent" movie, holding up a film clapperboard with a big, big smile and a very lovely and also Candor-appropriate blouse. Roth, who's gotten to visit the set of the adaptation on multiple occasions thanks to her ultra-convenient homebase proximity, has been very forthright with her excitement over the process of seeing the "Divergent" story come to cinematic fruition via blog and Twitter, which of course only makes the fanbase even more jazzed about all the goings-on. Great to see her right in there in the mix of things so much, is ;;;;...

Not only has a glimpse at Veronica Roth paying another visit to the "Divergent" set been shared by producer John J. Kelly on Twitter today, but a bit of outdoor filming was observed by some nearby fans who had the mind to whip out a camera in time to share the action as well. From On Location Vacations, the attached video shares a bit of Dauntless activity in the West Monroe Street area. Note the proximity of those running to those train tracks. Notice anything else here? While on the subject of small set glimpses, actor Miles Teller doled out another one of his signature teaser images on Thursday, writing "Exclusive first look photo of #Divergent 'The Pit' set." So, now we know that Paramount are comprehensively rebooting the Jack Ryan character and creating something akin to a cross-over franchise, where Chris Pine plays a younger, pre-cia Ryan and Kevin Costner plays a mentor figure (William Harper) who may then crop up in Without Remorse as a similar mentor for Clancy’s character John Kelly, if rumours of Christopher McQuarrie taking on that project prove to be true.
Lost yet? We’ll see how this pans out. What we do know for sure is that Jack Ryan, with Chris Pine as Ryan and Kevin Costner as Harper is now shooting under Kenneth Branagh’s supervision. Ryan will be a financial analyst at this stage, yet to be lured into the CIA and Branagh is taking on villain duties as well, as Ryan’s boss who is planning to do something fairly mean with the Us economy. Quite what could...

Kevin Costner has not only officially signed on to the new Jack Ryan film, he also might star in a tangential franchise titled Without Remorse, potentially starring Tom Hardy. "The deal coming together envisions Costner potentially headlining his own film. He will play William Harper, a true blue American idealist who recruits and mentors both Ryan and John Kelly," Deadline writes. True, blue, and Hollywood-relevant once more.

When I moved to Los Angeles in 2007, I didn’t know I wanted to be a director. I thought I just wanted to produce. Like everyone else who moves to L.A. to pursue their dream, I figured that said dream would involve getting a job as a production assistant and going from there. I was fortunate enough to land just that job; later, I became a producer’s assistant for my mentor John J. Kelly (Warrior). It was during this time that I discovered I wanted to direct, write and produce. I wrote the contemporary mafia drama/thriller Suspicion and approached financiers with an interest in independent film. Once financing was secure, I approached available colleagues, and we set out to make my first feature film.

The guy who hosts Survivor once directed a movie. This is what I’m learning from Variety, who report that Jeff Probst will follow up his 2001 debut Finder’s Fee with Kiss Me, a coming-of-age drama that already has John Corbett (remember him?) and Sarah Bolger set to star. Written by Lost and Deadwood scribe Liz Sarnoff, the story centers on “a teenage girl [going] through the physical and emotional growing pains of adolescence.”
This teenage girl is “Zoe, who struggles with insecurities of having to wear a back brace to cure her scoliosis.” In the story, she’s forced to “navigate complicated relationships with her mother, her best friend and Chance (Corbett), a married man whose kids she babysits.” (I’d place some kind of Survivor-related joke here, but… well, I’ve never seen the show.) The independent feature, which begins shooting next month, is being produced by Probst,...
