Earlier this month, an image cinematographer Christian Sebaldt shared on Instagram indicated that Final Destination 6 (which is going by the title Final Destination: Bloodlines) was finally, after years of development and a thirteen-year gap between sequels, heading into production. The next day, producer Craig Perry took to social media to confirm that Final Destination: Bloodlines is indeed filming, the aim being to get this one into theatres in 2025 – in time to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the original film. Now, it’s been revealed that the long anticipated sequel has officially wrapped principal photography. Once again, the announcement came courtesy of Perry. The film stars Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Teo Briones, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Richard Harmon, Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones, Rya Kihlstedt, and Tinpo Lee. It also features the return of Tony Todd in his iconic role as William Budworth, who was in the first,...

To mark the occasion, a sixth Final Destination film is being prepared, and series producer Craig Perry has revealed on social media that shooting is currently underway. He’s even revealed a title: Final Destination: Bloodlines – though that might be subject to change in the near future. More on this in just a second.

It’s about time! Thirteen years have gone by since the release of Final Destination 5, but we’ve been hearing rumblings that another sequel was on the way for years. A while back, Jon Watts, director of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far from Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, came on board to produce the sixth film in the Final Destination franchise alongside Dianne McGunigle, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, and Craig Perry. Back in September of 2022, we learned that the duo of Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, who previously directed the 2018 film Freaks (starring Emile Hirsch and Bruce Dern) and the 2019 live-action Kim Possible movie, would be directing Final Destination 6. Last October, it was revealed that the film will be called Final Destination: Bloodlines… and now cinematographer Christian Sebaldt has shared an image that indicates Final Destination: Bloodlines will be heading into production soon! (If it hasn’t already.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has revealed its 276-member-strong class of 2013.
The list, published by The Hollywood Reporter, includes actors, cinematographers, designers, directors, documentarians, executives, film editors, makeup artists and hairstylists, "members-at-large," musicians, producers, PR folks, short filmmakers and animators, sound technicians, visual effects artists, and writers.
Jason Bateman, Rosario Dawson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Milla Jovovich, Lucy Liu, Jennifer Lopez, Emily Mortimer, Sandra Oh, Jason Schwartzman, and Michael Peña are among the roster of actors, while "The Heat" and "Bridesmaids" helmer Paul Feig made the directors' cut.
"We did not change our criteria at all," says Academy president Hawk Koch of this year's larger-than-usual class. "Yes, this year there is a tremendous amount of women, a tremendous amount of people of color, people from all walks of life. This year, we asked the branches to look at everybody who wasn't in the Academy but who deserved to be.

This was the premiere of Parasomnia and the Director Bill Malone (Fear.com, House on Haunted Hill) was present to tell us that the inspiration for his movie came as he was watching the Cabinet of Dr Caligari (1920). Also eating popcorn were cast members Dylan Purcell, Cherilyn Wilson, Patrick Kilpartrick, Jeffrey Combs, Timothy Bottoms and Cinematographer Christian Sebaldt. Parasomnia is a Sleeping Beauty legend reinvention with dashes of Beetlejuice and Pan's Labyrinth. Despite a fine performance from Patrick Kilpatrick as the evil hypnotist, Dr Volpe ( a performance so good, I little bird tells me it got him picked up for the new Mixed Martial Arts project by the Argentinean fight man Hector Echavarria), and some very stylish camera work, the film as a whole is somewhat patchy in the story and the character development department.
