My favorite Movies
They're not in a particular order, but the first 4 are definitely up there. Some Movies are on here for childhood memories. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to know that I'm German, so my favorites have been heavily influenced by my heritage.
I consider these my favorite movies. There are other amazing movies out there that I've rated 10/10, but I consider these my favorites.

- DirectorChristophe BarratierStarsGérard JugnotFrançois BerléandJean-Baptiste MaunierPierre, a successful orchestra conductor, returns home when his mother dies. He stumbles upon an old diary and recollects the childhood school memories and his music teacher Clement Mathieu. No doubt, the best movie ever made. The music written for this movie is, quiet frankly, the best music ever written. Top that with an amazing cast and good acting and you get the best movie of all times.

- DirectorSteve PrevinStarsVincent WinterSean ScullyPeter WeckSupported avidly by his mother and more reluctantly at first by his father, a working-class Austrian boy joins the Vienna Choirboys, where he proves to be unusually talented. The standard initiation ordeals which new boys must endure at the hands of their seniors are intensified in his case because he has aroused the jealousy of Peter, the head chorister, by singing a solo which Peter had long sung himself. The fact is that Peter's voice is breaking, and with a broken voice often comes a broken heart. But, encouraged by the director and all the boys, Peter begins to develop in a new role as composer and conductor.By now you can guess what my favorite music genre might be. Besides that, I love the story and the characters and their arcs especially.

- DirectorAlexander PayneStarsPaul GiamattiDa'Vine Joy RandolphDominic SessaA cranky history teacher at a prep school is forced to remain on campus over the holidays with a grieving cook and a troubled student who has no place to go.The most recent. I heard good things about this movie but I was shocked by it's runtime and what the reviews told about the story. Then I watched it, and oh boy, is this film amazing. The story is great and the character loveable and the actors are just incredible. Da'Vine definitely deserved the Oscar for her role and so would have Paul Giamatti.
