Aaron Taylor-Johnson is an English stage, television, and film actor.
He was born Aaron Perry Johnson in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, to Sarah and Robert Johnson, a civil engineer. He has a sister, Gemma Johnson, who had a small role in his movie Tom & Thomas (2002). Aaron is of English-Russian Jewish descent.
He began performing at age six, appearing in plays like Macbeth and All My Sons. He worked frequently on television as a young actor, having roles in the TV films The Apocalypse (2002), Behind Closed Doors (2003), The Best Man (2006), and Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars (2007), and series The Bill (1984), Family Business (2003), Feather Boy (2004), Casualty (1986), Talk to Me (2007), and Nearly Famous (2007). He made his feature debut in the British film Tom & Thomas (2002), where he played the dual title roles. Aaron became known in England after playing a leading role in the film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008), opposite Georgia Groome. He then co-starred with Carey Mulligan in the American drama The Greatest (2009), played John Lennon in the biography Nowhere Boy (2009), and had the lead role of a teenage would-be superhero, Dave Lizewski, in the action superhero riff Kick-Ass (2010), which introduced him to a wide American audience.
After appearing in the thriller Chatroom (2010), Aaron had a large part in the Irish-set drama Albert Nobbs (2011), and co-starred with Taylor Kitsch and Blake Lively in Oliver Stone's California-based action-thriller Savages (2012). After reprising his role in the sequel Kick-Ass 2 (2013), Aaron had starring roles in his two biggest films to date, the blockbusters Godzilla (2014), as soldier Ford Brody, and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), as Pietro Maximoff (known as Quicksilver in the Marvel comic books). He first played Pietro in a mid-credits scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014). Next, he won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his role as the shady Ray in the drama Nocturnal Animals (2016), and co-starred with John Cena in the war thriller The Wall (2017).
While filming Nowhere Boy (2009), Aaron began a relationship with the film's director, artist Sam Taylor-Wood. The two married in 2012, and blended their surnames together. Anna Hannah Rezan is an award winning actress and director that was born in Athens, Greece, to a lawyer, who wanted to become an actress and to a federal judge who wanted to become a director. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Blake Michael is best known for his leading roles in Disney's Dog With a Blog and Lemonade Mouth. He began his career at the age of 3 booking numerous print jobs. When Blake was 5, he enrolled in acting classes with Lisina (Longo) Stoneburner at the Company Acting Studio in Atlanta. It was with Lisina and her staff that Blake's serious love for acting was nurtured and developed.
When Blake was 6 he was signed by Atlanta talent agent Joy Pervis, with whom he remained until moving to L.A.
Blake's first principal role in a commercial was for Bojangles' Chicken in which he shared the spotlight with NC quarterback Jake Delhomme. He also appeared in the U.S. Army sponsored Mark Schultz music video "Letters From War." Blake's first worldwide exposure came in 2006 when his commercial for the game of the movie Zathura saturated the globe. Blake worked frequently as a model for Macy's for 2 years and in 3rd grade he told his mom that he needed to be home schooled because acting is what he wanted to do.
When Blake was 10, he was chosen to be the host of a series of four collaborative commercials for Hasbro Toys and Cartoon Network. This piqued Cartoon Network's interest in him and soon after, they hired him to host his own show for Cartoon Network. Aimed toward an audience of 6-11 year old boys, Blake named the Friday show "Fried Dynamite" while the Saturday morning show was called "Dynamite Action Squad." His stint with the network lasted 3 years.
In June 2010, Blake's talent was recognized by Disney and he was cast in a lead role, 'Charlie', for the 2011 Disney made for TV movie musical, "Lemonade Mouth." Later in 2010 Blake jumped to the other side of the camera when he wrote and directed a short film, "Anonymous" which debuted at teen festivals in April 2011. Actor/Singer Max Schneider began performing at the age of three and hasn't stopped since. He started off singing and dancing for family and friends on his living room table, but ended up singing and dancing on a Broadway stage.
He began his professional career in the Broadway musical, 13, and things just set off from there. Shortly after 13 closed, Max booked a guest starring role on "Law and Order SVU." He has also appeared on television shows such as "One Life to Live" and "The View." In January 2010, Max was lucky enough to be chosen out of 6,000 applicants to attend the YoungArts Program in Miami. Milo Manheim is an up-and-coming American actor born and raised in Los Angeles. Milo was discovered when casting director Amber Horn saw his performance as "Roger" in the musical Rent.
