Now the senior, who has been divorced for 19 years and is dissatisfied with her life, is faced with an inner emptiness that cannot be compensated for by trying to rediscover golf. Almuth has a big problem: she doesn't love herself, so she is unable to feel affection for others. If a conversation threatens to become too personal, she uses the phrase "That's enough, change the subject!" to finish briskly. Even her relationship with her mother Elisabeth, who lives in a nursing home, is of a clearly cold nature - no wonder, because Almuth does not want to admit to herself how much she has taken over from the cool, outwardly dismissive character of her wife Mama. Rita Ritter and her terrier mix Pankow sweep into the vague feeling of being lost from unwanted retirement. She is Almuth's cleaning lady, but has not been noticed by her until now, since the life of the frustrated woman in her mid-sixties revolved solely around her professional responsibility. Now two women from completely opposite worlds face each other: On the one hand, the strict ex-doctor who is incapable of emotional emotions, on the other hand, a whirlwind from the former East with an infectious temperament and a loose tongue. Rita quickly realizes what is wrong with her employer and tries to lure her out of her reserve. In doing so, she achieves partial successes, but these are not of long duration. At some point, even the household help, who is blessed with a thick skin, finds it too much: Rita resigns and Almuth is left alone again. Now it is up to her to jump over her own shadow and open up to her fellow human beings in order to be respected and loved herself.

- DirectorMatthias SteurerStarsMarie-Lou SellemGötz SchubertUlrich PleitgenEverything runs like clockwork for the Jens family: Hanna and Martin are extremely happily married, their son Paul is a bright, funny eleven-year-old boy. Professionally, too, things are going well: Both are employed in managerial positions in a Hamburg shipyard, Hanna in quality management, Martin in the development department. Everything is fine the way it is. And then it gets even better. Because completely surprisingly, Hanna is promoted to second managing director by junior boss Bernd Möller. A recognition that Hanna would never have dreamed of. And Martin is overjoyed, too, as he now sees the necessary funds for the development of his passion project, a revolutionary fuel cell, within reach with Hanna's support. Of course not all that glitters is gold. Because what Hanna didn't know, the traditional shipyard is on the verge of bankruptcy. Hanna has to go through a tough austerity course, which Martin's project also falls victim to. Sworn to secrecy by junior boss Möller, Hanna cannot confide in her angry, disappointed husband. Thick storm clouds are now hanging over the former picture-book family, which are becoming even darker because of Martin's widowed, headstrong father Willfried, who has temporarily moved in with them. For Willfried, the mere fact that not Martin but Hanna became boss is an impossibility; that she is now also - apparently - deliberately sabotaging his son, another sign of the completely wrong course of the modern world. Where will this all end? First of all, in a veritable marriage crisis of the former dream couple. While Martin seeks encouragement from a young colleague, Hanna wears herself out in her fight for the shipyard and slowly discovers that someone is playing the wrong cards in order to enrich themselves from the ruin of the shipyard. But it seems too late to try to save both the shipyard and their marriage.

- DirectorKaspar HeidelbachDirk KummerStarsMario AdorfTilo PrücknerHermann BeyerBoxer is the king of the correctional facility. Nothing works without him in "his" prison, and if need be, he even knocks out a much younger fellow inmate. - and that at over 80 years of age, mind you. However, his advanced age is increasingly taking its toll, which has not escaped the notice of the prison doctor. Boxer is to be transferred to a prison especially for senior citizens - the idea alone makes the sprightly prison veteran shudder. But then his buddy Henne tells him that he has finally found what he is looking for in the search for Boxer's great love Kathrin, and even more: He has found out that Kathrin has a daughter - and she looks amazingly like Boxer ... Suddenly he old crooks no longer have anything against being transferred to senior citizens' prison. From there, he has resolved, he will be able to escape. And then he will see the woman he once wanted to marry, and maybe his daughter too. However, there was one thing Boxer did not expect: his former friend Wallberg is also housed in his new prison home. Boxer had committed several robberies with him and Henne in the 80s, including a spectacular jewel robbery worth millions. Boxer and Wallberg were convicted, nothing could be proven against Henne. The booty was gone. Boxer, while still in custody, beat Wallberg to the hospital. He suspected that Wallberg had at least one eye on Kathrin. In the senior citizens' prison, Wallberg plays the harmless demented quite convincingly in order to be able to deal undisturbed with medicines. But Boxer saw through him and continued to be confrontational - until Wallberg suggested they flee together. What Boxer doesn't suspect: thanks to Henne's involvement, Wallberg has the same motive as he does - after all, Kathrin's daughter could also be his child. The escape succeeds, the former crook trio is reunited and first wants to dig up the loot from the grave of millions, so that they can finally see Kathrin again. But the outside world has changed since Boxer and Wallberg's convictions, and nothing is going quite as well as Boxer thought it would.

However, the 65-year-old pensioner does not have this money and neither the lady from the health insurance company nor her relatives show much understanding for her desire to be a "whole woman" again. Erika's best friends Dorle and Ilse are quite different. They are determined to help her financially. With all sorts of clever tricks and a good portion of chutzpah, the bon Vivian's had always managed to treat themselves to something despite a small bankroll. Now the senior citizens are doing small jobs to finance Erika's operation: They rent out their old Ford Taunus as advertising space, sell crocheted doilies or advertise incontinence panties. But all imagination is in vain, you don't get the money until the planned surgery date. In this situation, Ilse and Dorle develop astonishing criminal energy in order to find the missing sum: They rob a casino with a pistol made of cookie dough and chocolate icing. That brings a lot of money, but at the same time big trouble is not long in coming. Because while Erika seems to find the right man in the likable Fred, of all people, the casual Ilse lets the windy charmer Karl turn her head. But for Erika at some point the question arises anyway whether she really needs a new breast for her late happiness.

- DirectorNikolai MüllerschönStarsJutta SpeidelHansa CzypionkaBettina RedlichEveryone is discussing the threat of two-tier medicine - Kathi Pfeiffer, on the other hand, interprets the term in her own unique way: the head of the therapeutic department of a Munich private clinic also treats needy people who actually cannot afford it - and provides everything to her wealthy patients charged. This not entirely legal Robin Hood method becomes her undoing when the old clinic owner dies and a community of investors takes over. The new bosses, who want to turn the traditional house into a luxury clinic anyway, accuse Kathi of fraud and put not only her, but the entire workforce at the door without notice. From one moment to the next, Kathi's entire existence is in danger of collapsing: her colleagues blame her for the layoffs and her private debts threaten to finally grow over her head due to the loss of her job. In this situation, she will also no longer be able to take care of her old neighbor, Ms. Otz. Determined to end her life, she runs to a bridge on the river. However, she is not alone with this idea: Before Kathi can implement it, an elegantly dressed man jumps into the water in front of her eyes. In this situation, Kathi's helper instinct triumphs over her suicidal thoughts: She jumps after the man, saves the man's life and flees with him from the arriving police. The soaking wet bridge jumper introduces himself as Clemens Nutz. He too has had a hard blow of fate. As an unscrupulous financial juggler, he came to power and wealth - until his criminal partner connected him to illegal business and whistled him to the public prosecutor's office as a pawn victim. Kathi takes the volatile top manager in and together the unequal duo decides to declare war on their opponents. Thanks to Clemens' experience in the business world, Kathi's resolute charm and the hacking talent of Kathi's 18-year-old grandson Julius, they manage to collect evidence against the greedy speculators. And it doesn't take long before the two of them get closer to each other in their private search for clues. But then Kathi gets into a situation in which she has to ask herself whether she can really trust her supposed boyfriend from the world of high finance - or whether he is not in cahoots with her worst enemy.

What Hans and Joachim initially do not suspect: the clever Isolde plays them off against each other and tells both what they want to hear. Because everyone gets started in their own way, it initially rumbles violently at the dual leadership. But the two soon realize that things get better together and that their different characters actually complement each other perfectly. Joachim is a far-sighted manager and a good ballroom dancer, the spontaneous Hans can win people over. In this way they even manage to compensate for the failure of the rousing dance teacher Martha. Luckily, she passed her talent on to her son Carlo. Right away, he not only stirs up the senior group with his hip-hop moves, but also inspires the newly recruited school classes. With the trio, a new groove comes into the dance school. But not everyone likes the success. The first tests for the dream team are not long in coming.

Even less so since her daughter took over her practice. But everything starts to change when Annebärbel's husband leaves her and she is forced to take stock of her life. In the process, she makes a journey deep into her past, and attempts to live her childhood dream, which she had to give up all these years ago due to her mother: figure skating. With wobbly, tentative legs, she steps into a world full of chilly magic: the skating rink. This is when she has to admit that people are part of the equation as well, and they haven't exactly been waiting for "Dr Horrid" to come stumbling in front of their blades. The misanthropic Annebärbel has to endure a wide array of interpersonal conflicts, before she finds, on the ice rink, the kind of warmth she didn't know she needed: she forms a warm friendship with a young woman who is a top athlete, a group of aged amateur skaters show her how to lust for life, and she meets the 1974 World Figure Skating Champion, Christine Stüber-Errath, from Berlin. His wife Friederike observes her husband's addiction to control with a mixture of annoyance and loving ridicule. But Christoph is not only an obsessed perfectionist - he also has a pronounced tendency towards hypochondria. And one day that leads to Christoph believing that he is terminally ill with cancer - the attending physician had only switched the X-ray image because Christoph had pushed forward again during the consultation hour. The most important question for the supposedly doomed man is now: How should his family continue to live without him? Out of sheer care, Christoph decides to keep Friederike secret about his illness and to secretly look for a worthy successor via a personal ad. With the involuntary support of his best friend, the Catholic Father Alois, he sifts through tons of bizarre videos of candidates and even hosts a barbecue evening with three old school friends - all singles, but completely useless. The awkward esoteric freak Paul still seems to have the most potential. So Christoph decides to "spice up" his old friend a little with the help of the beauty advisor Suse. What the former city doctor and current farmer Achim doesn't suspect: Bärbel has been worried about his health for some time. She is convinced that Achim's heart won't last much longer if he doesn't finally slow down. She is troubled by the constant conflict with her evil brother-in-law, the ox host, who is after her farm. That's why she has already secretly quit her job as a teacher to move to Stuttgart with Achim. He is deeply offended when he accidentally finds out about this plan. And so the couple slides into their first serious marital crisis. Because Achim also made his plans like this. He wants to transfer his own farm to the family of his "almost son-in-law" Boris. And he wants to transform Bärbel's estate into a sanctuary for old animals under his own leadership. He starts with his great aunt's two loyal Rottweilers, who were actually supposed to be put down and who from now on never leave his side. With his plans, however, Achim puts himself between all stools. The greedy ox farmer already saw Bärbel's farm as a lucrative trading point for cheap export cattle. Meanwhile, Achim's daughter Anna, an easy-going veterinarian, and his son Arnulf fear for their inheritance if Boris gets his father's farm - although on the other hand they are trying to emancipate themselves from their caring Pappa. Only Achim's youngest son, Achim junior, supports his father. So the big family reunion ends in a big family row. Only when the stressed Achim collapses at the wheel of his car a little later does the clan come to their senses.
- DirectorAnnette ErnstStarsPeter Heinrich BrixAnica DobraRalph HerforthA criminal investigator who is afraid of crime scenes is as ludicrous as an Olympic swimmer who is afraid of water. But sometimes fate plays the craziest pranks, and so the LKA officer Robert from Hanover actually suffers from a phobia that makes it impossible for him to pursue fugitive crooks or even to enter a crime scene. This handicap is a thorn in the side of his superior, the sarcastic macho Horst Hoff. At every opportunity he makes fun of Robert and advises him to quit. Of course, that is out of the question. In his old age, those in their mid-fifties would prefer to be trained as a "profiler", only he needs the consent of Hoff in order to fulfill this lifelong dream. The hairdresser Rita also has a dream: she feels called to write, but unfortunately her stories are not met with much enthusiasm by friends and publishers. When the two romantically inclined dreamers meet, it is love at first sight in the truest sense of the word. Shy and slightly unsettled about their own happiness, they get closer, but unfortunately their attempts to arrange a romantic dinner are thwarted time and again - an escaped violent criminal keeps the men from the LKA in suspense. As if that weren't enough, Rita's daughter Jule is also involved in a criminal case: her roommate is mysteriously killed. While Hoff assumes suicide or an accident, Robert guesses murder with a sure instinct. Both the honest neighbor and Jules' easygoing friend Tim appear to be involved in the case. In their search for the truth, Robert and Rita surpass themselves in astonishing ways, but as the saying goes: love gives you wings.
