HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS SEASON 3 RATINGS
In s.3 the show finally took off
First of all don't believe most of the ratings of the episodes in Imdb, i mean you can't tell me that episodes like ''Surprise'' and ''A Rock and a Hard Place'' deserve an under 8 rating. This season was overall a lot more fun, well made/written, funny and spectacular that the previous ones, it reached ''Xena'' level of entertainment (they also also pulled over an excellent crossover with that show). Sorbo was better than ever here, whether it was his comedic timing or especially his acting skills in chapters that explored dramatically Hercules as a character. By the way, we finally got some excellent and memorable dark and serious episodes, like ''Mercenary'' which is the highlight of the series thus far. In most of the episodes the show never took itself too seriously and it really worked. I really enjoyed the three part ''Serena event''!!!
About the complaints, some things simply remain the same, mostly that some characters (mainly villains) and stories fell flat due to the writers obviously not making enough effort...
Overall rating: 8.8/10
