- DirectorMartin CampbellStarsDaniel CraigEva GreenJudi DenchAfter earning a licence to kill, secret agent James Bond sets out on his first mission as 007. Bond must defeat a private banker funding terrorists in a high-stakes game of poker at Casino Royale, in Montenegro.Simply a totally classic, its probably the most intense Bond film of the lot. It's a long bond movie, but never once get bored. Craig is faultless in this one.
- DirectorGuy HamiltonStarsSean ConneryGert FröbeHonor BlackmanWhile investigating a gold magnate's smuggling, James Bond uncovers a plot to contaminate the Fort Knox gold reserve.Another classic, if your ever wanting to introduce someone new to the world of Bond. Then I'd recommend this one.
- DirectorSam MendesStarsDaniel CraigJavier BardemNaomie HarrisJames Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.Like casino royale this is a lot more intense and if your looking for character development with Bond then you'll like this soon. Perfect movie to celebrate its 50th.
- DirectorRoger SpottiswoodeStarsPierce BrosnanJonathan PryceMichelle YeohJames Bond sets out to stop a media mogul's plan to induce a war between China and the United Kingdom.Extremely underrated movie, Brosnan looks a lot more comfortable in the role in this one. The plot is simple and sort of traditional, a perfect Bond film to unwind with.
- DirectorMartin CampbellStarsPierce BrosnanSean BeanIzabella ScorupcoWhen a powerful secret defense system is stolen, James Bond is assigned to stop a Russian crime syndicate from using it.A lot more darker toned but once again a great plot with some excellent character development with Brosnan.
- DirectorTerence YoungStarsSean ConneryRobert ShawLotte LenyaJames Bond willingly falls into an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by the organization Spectre.Probably the first Bond movie to stick mainly to its sauce to the novel, quite intense especially when on board the train. I have to admit when I was younger I use to find this one boring, as unlike the many others this one was a lot more slow paced. However the older I get, the more I've respected it. Great movie and I think this probably Connery's best performance as Bond.
- DirectorJohn GlenStarsRoger MooreChristopher WalkenTanya RobertsThe recovery of a microchip from the body of a fellow British secret agent leads James Bond to a mad industrialist scheming to cause massive destruction. An underrated Bond film in my opinion, another film that gets some uncalled for flack. The movie like Tomorrow Never Dies as a simple plot and sticks to his Bond tradition. Moore certainly looks old in this one I'm afraid, probably should have stepped down two films before, however still a good movie. Though the Grace Jones and Roger Moore scene is a little bit shall we say... "Awkward"
Soft sport for this film, seeing as this was one of the earliest I'd seen. - DirectorJohn GlenStarsRoger MooreCarole BouquetTopolSecret service agent James Bond is assigned to find a missing British vessel equipped with a weapons encryption device and prevent it from falling into enemy hands.Another movie when younger I used to dislike and describe it as boring, however after the farce of Moonraker. Bond sticks to his routes and we get a lot more realistic, down to earth Bond film. The plot isn't the most exciting but it's simple.
- DirectorLewis GilbertStarsSean ConneryAkiko WakabayashiMie HamaJames Bond and the Japanese Secret Service must find and stop the true culprit of a series of space hijackings, before war is provoked between Russia and the United States.Typical Bond film, with lavish evil hide outs, over the top plots, pointless disguises, weird villains... just what we love about the bond films eh!? Probably not Connery's best performance but not going to complain to much, Donald Pleasent as blofelt I found was anticlimactic and a miscast.
- DirectorJohn GlenStarsRoger MooreMaud AdamsLouis JourdanA fake Fabergé egg recovered from the body of a fellow agent leads James Bond to uncover a jewel smuggling operation led by the mysterious Octopussy, and a plot to blow up a NATO air base.A Bond film when I was younger I used to hate for some reason, for some reason I used to avoid watching this movie. After watching it quite recently, I've found myself thinking "What I missed out on!?". Decent Bond flick with some exotic looking locations, interesting fights and a few laughs. Maybe dressing Moore's Bond as a clown a little going to far... More of an comic bond film. It's enjoyable nonetheless.
- DirectorGuy HamiltonStarsRoger MooreChristopher LeeBritt EklandJames Bond is targeted by the world's most expensive assassin, while he attempts to recover sensitive solar cell technology that is being sold to the highest bidder.Another Bond film that gets a lot of uncalled for flack, most describe this as boring. Mainly down to its limited plot and slow paceness, which I can agree to a degree, however there is some good moments in this I did enjoy. Christopher Lee makes a good villain but sadly is under used. I think it's a decent Bond flick, with a simple plot and some good funny dialogue.
- DirectorGuy HamiltonStarsSean ConneryJill St. JohnCharles GrayA diamond smuggling investigation leads James Bond to Las Vegas where he uncovers an evil plot involving a rich business tycoon.Following the death of Bond's wife in OHMSS, you come to expect the follow up to see Bond on revenge vendetta, how wrong you'll find yourself. It seems like the last movie didn't happen, in fact the reference of Bond getting married doesn't get mentioned until The Spy Who Loved Me. Film itself is fairly okay, not a great Bond film but its a decent action flick, I have soft spot for this film I confess. It's not as bad as some make out but It's far from great. Connery looks bored to hell in this!
