- DirectorWalt DisneyStarsVirginia DavisTommy HicksAlice and her friends put on a show. After a brief overture, act one: A saloon; Alice enters, and shoots down two bad guys. Tubby O'Brien and his gang then enter the audience; Alice's cast leaves out of fear. Alice decides to tell stories of her wild west adventures, and we finally get two brief animated sequences: Alice riding atop a stagecoach, shooting at Indians, and Alice as Sheriff, taking care of a bad guy who steals a safe. The overall feel is much more like an Our Gang short than the rest of the Alice series.

When a rider comes back, unable to get past the Indians, Porky has his chance. The plan is to send Porky out first with a bag full of horseshoes as a decoy (of course, they won't tell Porky he's a decoy). But Porky takes the wrong sack. He encounters the Indians, who attack (well, some of them are too inept, and only attack their own horse, who eventually attacks back). - DirectorCal DaltonBen HardawayStarsJoe TwerpMel BlancA man stops for gas on his way to dig for gold. The man at the station tells him what it was like back in 1849 in San Francisco, which we see. A sucker is hauled off the street and sat down at a card game; he dashes off as soon as someone shouts "they found gold in the hills" but others stake claims before he can. He ends up chopping off a cliff, falling down, and landing in the hospital. The doctor gives him news of another gold strike and he rushes out to begin panning. After some more mining gags and a song, we see a montage of more failed gold strikes. Back to the present day, where the storyteller claims to have sworn off gold, until a rider passes through with news of another strike, when he trades the station for the car and sets out after the gold.
