The firemen save a man trapped in a collapsed building under construction, but, before that, the man wants Roy to amputate his leg before the rest of the building falls on him.

The catatonic patient receives an injection from his friend, and he responds...by jumping out a window onto a ledge, nearly kicking Roy off into the parking lot until he is tranquilized.
