Films about Forgery and Fraud, Art and Wine
You might be amazed to learn that thousands of faked paintings have been circulated by genuine artists, some still living, and whose ultimate fame derived from their fraud, not their creative output. Curators and collectors have been fooled time and time again, and many of the works are still out there--revered as masterpieces when in fact they are fakes. Some dealers sell works to multiple buyers. Wine connoisseurs have also been fooled by shysters... Caveat emptor!
