- DirectorJem GarrardStarsAli LiebertBrett DaltonJanet KidderIn the running for a promotion, reality cooking show producer Kelly prepares for her cooking show for kids. When show host Chef Betty has an unexpected injury, Kelly hires controversial Chef Stephen as a replacement.Week 7 -- Valentine -- Premiered: 2/11/2018
Hallmark hit a home run pairing kind hearted television producer Kelly (Ali Liebert) a producer for kid cooking show The Little Gourmet with the cocky hot-headed chef Stephen Harris (Brett Dalton). The chemistry between them almost feels real and very believable. What I really liked about this movie is: (1) Kelly and Stephen helped inspire the children chefs to achieve great things; (2) there were no intruding/competing girlfriends or boyfriends; (3) supporting actress Jessica (Kimberly Sustad) is always lovely and delightful; (4) child actor Becca (Aria Birch) won my heart from beginning to end.
Through the first seven weeks of Hallmarks 2018 season this is by far my favorite HM movie of the year so far.

Hallmark kicked off 2018 with a winner. The filming was in British Columbia, Canada and the scenery is gorgeous and makes for great winter sports.
Alex (Katrina Bowden) aspires to become a travel writer and is given a chance to write a story about her fears of almost anything adventure related as she participates in overcoming them. Early in the movie she meets a sports enthusiast Cole (Thomas Deadoin) who has some weaknesses of his own. Cole becomes Alex's guide. As they conquer some of Alex's fears sparks flies. While the chemistry isn't the greatest, it is solid. Alex was a little annoying early in the movie but as it progressed I enjoyed her and hope to see her in more HM movies. This is a movie that I will enjoy again in the future.

But his mother isn't pleased with the match and tries to prove that the American gal isn't suitable to be a royal bride.Week 14 -- Spring -- Premiered: 4/7/2018
Professional gardener Susanna (Megan Park) skills are limited while she is working at her Truett Family Garden Supply in small-town Georgia. While driving Susanna has a flat tire; charming European Nate (Jonathan Keltz) stops to assist. Soon Nate is working at Truett's and is encourging Susanna to begin her own business.
Megan Park is realistic and beautiful as always, and the chemistry with Jonathan Keltz is believable and has you cheering that they will one day be together.
This has been one of my favorite HM movies of 2018. I will enjoy this movie many more times in the future.

Childhood sweethearts who have taken different paths that have taken them to different continents are reunited when they inherit the Gilded Age estate where they spent time during their childhood.
Lucy Windsor (Amanda Schull) is a historian who is an arts director who studied at Oxford and resides is London. Duncan (Peter Porte) is an architect who resides in the estate where his father was the groundskeeper. Duncan is more progressive and has little appreciation for history or the arts.
This movie was enjoyable but it never peaked. What you get in the beginning is the same pace and emotional feel that lingers throughout the movie. The chemistry between the leads was solid but they don't have you feeling their love for each other. Hannah (Anna Van Hooft) is the most the most beautiful lady in this movie. Eleanor (Dolores Drake) is always convincing in her HM roles.
Review submitted: 3/11/2018 --- Victor J. - DirectorScott SmithStarsRachael Leigh CookNiall MatterSandy SidhuBad boy hockey player Adam and struggling book-store owner Mary must work together to help rehabilitate each other's image. Their mutual animosity, and attraction, sees them struggle to achieve their goal.Week 2 -- Winterfest -- Premiered: 1/13/2018
Mary Cartwright (Rachel Leigh Cook) a book-store owner struggling financially, and suspended hockey player Adam Clayborn (Niall Matter) needing to clean up his bad boy/hot temper attitude are paired together to achieve their objectives. The story is solid and the supporting cast is entertaining, especially Mary's brother Tyler Cartwright (Niall Matter).
While I am a fan of Rachael Leigh Cook and Niall Matter I don't feel that their chemistry was very convincing. I still give it a solid 6 but it isn't anything that I will look forward to seeing again.

Montana rancher Hank Pavlik (James Brolin) inherits a estate in a fictional European country, and reluctantly becomes the King of the country.
Hank's daughter Kelly (Cindy Busby) is his daughter that stars along side of Alex (Andrew Cooper) the estates groundskeeper.
This is the most disappointing HM movie of the year, it had so much potential to be funny....... but it wasn't. The script is poor which required the actors to over act, and it is obvious that it prevented them from being even good. The chemistry between the leads is very poor.
I've watched this one once, but never again.
