- An island, a tree and a woman. Gestures that are repeated day after day with subtle variations. Until something sinister and prophetic, an echo of the outside world, breaks into this everyday life changing the course of things.
- June 15, 1878. Eadweard Muybridge arranges twenty-four cameras along a track where a horse and his rider will run. He wants to prove scientifically that the hooves of the horse no longer touch the ground for a short time when his legs are in the assembled position. That day, Eadwaerd Muybridge creates the first live shot in motion in History. One hundred and forty years later, this short film pays tribute to his invention.
