- A millennial death doula introduces us to the world of end-of-life care. With a matter of fact demeanor and intense physicality she guides us into the largely uncharted waters of corpse care - practical, political and spiritual.
- The film makers Annika and Kersti make a revenge movie about bloody trails through womanhood. When the bizarre bleeding of one of them turns out to be cancer, they find themselves at the center of their movie. What started as a playful attempt to get back to the joy of creating, becomes a story of life and death. Propelled by wild conversations broken up by scenes from the movie they are making.
- A documentary journey with author Kerstin Ekman. Following her to the film shoot of her screenplay Varg in Valsjöbyn and Östersund, to a church play based on her novel and research in Lund and to her home in Hallstavik. She is present when her texts meet film, theater, church and readers. The journey continues into her literary world of glass blowing, reindeer herding, cooking, tree logging, church services and human encounters. Focus stays on the trilogy of epic novels Vargskinnet that takes place in Valsjöbyn in north western Sweden where Kerstin Ekman lived for 19 years. In many ways this trilogy captures her authorship; the commitment to society, the love of nature, the complex characters and the sense that people, deeds and time are always endlessly and intrinsically connected.
