- Strange events are happening on the highways. A newspaper editor instructs her reporters to find out the cause of them.
- Amsugi is bitter about Kallan's involvement in reuniting Reuben and Natasha, so she seeks vengeance on Kallan. Mandoza suffers a devastation while a new threat comes into Amsugi's and Bommi's life. Everybody gets caught in the crossfire with Amsugi's wrath and Kallan's revenge, leading to the most shocking revelation ever.
- This time Amsugi faces a challenge from a new potential daughter-in-law, who is highly educated, and extremely wealthy. Amsugi finds that she is well over her head, trying to out wit and out smart this new 'Tamil' daughter-in-law, Vimla. Vimla takes much joy in playing son against mother. She looks at it as an experience as she has never had a mother-in-law in her last three marriages. The movie sees the return of all popular characters such as the closet smoking Bommi, the compulsive eating Saras, the conservative well-dressed Kamla, and the ever girl-finding Reuben. They are joined by a host of new faces, who bring much comedy and excitement to the well-established franchise.
- A desperate grandson tries his level best to murder his gran by any means possible just so that he may inherit her fortune to pay off his debts. He hires an innocent girl merely looking for a job, and instructs her to 'poison' his granny, without her even knowing the truth. What transpires thereafter is a friendship and love that is built for life.
- Amsugi's grandson, Mandoza, is desperate to get married, but he is rejected by Skye, his girlfriend, as she feels that he needs to ask her father, Kallan, for permission, and she is also concerned that she has not yet met Mandoza's family.
