- Nick Kenny, the radio editor/reporter for the New York Daily Mirror newspaper has boarded the S.S. Paris in New York Harbor to interview Arthur Tracy (Arthur Tracy), radio's "Street Singer", about to sail for Europe. Kenny is quizzing Tracy about being a sap and falling for a vamp in a phony kidnap scheme. But Kenny himself is being strung along by the gang in an effort to shake him down...and Tracy saves him.
