Not quite! It turns out to be a rundown, yet still seaworthy schooner, complete with mildewy sails and a hull that is in desperate need of a paint job. The ship's captain, Liam Gallagher, is a salty, bedraggled man who drinks too much and seems to be in worse shape than his vessel. Not one to be deterred, Matt, having been convinced the Wind Dancer has passed a recent safety inspection, sets off with his family on a bigger adventure than any of them had planned.

Just before Simon's massive clockwork magic-absorber can suck all of the magic out of Olde Worlde Trollzopolis, Sapphire's clever adjustments send the magic streaming back - and send Simon and Snarf flying out of town. Trollzopolis is changed back to its loud, bright, modern self.

As the boys make their way through the caves, Simon tracks them. While crossing a chasm, Coal loses his hoverboard. Fortunately it makes its way to the girls, who rush to the rescue. They arrive to find the boys messing about with amber and are cornered by Simon. The girls fend him off but cause a cave-in. Eventually they find a way out but the boys' lackluster attempt at fixing the sacred altar has negated all magic.
