- Fifteen-year-old Jen doesn't have a very happy life - bullied by classmates, dumped by her boyfriend and picked on by her mom. Seeking comfort in a violent gang of girls led by her cousin, and in the arms of her Filipino teacher Ariel, things turn sour as he rejects her advances, and soon both are caught in lies that will change their lives forever.

When Joaquin is finally reunited with Waldo, he discovers that Rufo is about to sell them like fish to an international sex trafficking ring, along with his personal harem of male and female captives. With Beng's help, the two lovers plot their escape.

Despite the longing for his father and the threats to their lives, even at the peril of death, Pedro and Fr. Diego continued their missionary work. They roamed the dangerous islands and baptized many more natives and continued to enlighten them about Christianity. Guam is now a devoutly Catholic state and this is the story of how the young Filipino saint, between wars and persecutions, played his part in this divine mission.
