Maria begins to suspect he's the killer, but she is simultaneously attracted to him. How long until she becomes the next victim?

The bad guys kill a policeman and the brothers go to jail convicted of the killing. So much so that the first thing he does is convince the wives of the mayor and the president to urge their husbands to refuse the opening of another "place of vice and corruption". The open war has just been declared.
