- A program dedicated to the inner artiste and voyeur in all of us. FRONT explores the world of the Arts with a difference. Serious yet fun, informative yet entertaining; this is a show with attitude that is current and always has the pulse of the audience. Fronted by two fashionable, hip and in-the-know presenters, the stylized show is fast and frenzied, making the arts accessible with never a dull moment in between. Everything you ever wanted to know about arts and music, packaged in a half hour weekly, fresh and edgy magazine program, featuring lifestyles of the arts crowd, insights into the creative process, reviews on all genres in the arts field, coming attractions, a quick guide to what's happening and what's not, performances by local, regional and international acts, little known facts and trivia behind the scenes and retrospectives on world renowned Asian artistes. Each story and segment tackles a different angle on the very diverse arts field. The idea behind every story, profile and angle is to show the seldom seen face of the arts and artistes - to show the psyche behind their artistic panache, the decisions that led them to where they're at, what they (and their works) embody, to feature those that took the path less traveled with a unique mindset and drive. Eclectic. Engaging. Entertaining.
- When a sadistic father dies from a heart attack, he leaves over S$40 million in cash and assets to his estranged children: Ronald, a self-reliant businessman who loves the sound of his own voice, Marilyn, the diva actress, Simon, the depressed writer, Chris, the trouble-making rebel, and a goof-ball Indian, known simply as Taj, whom everyone assumes is an illegitimate child. At the reading of the will, it is discovered that all is not as easy as it seems. The conditions of the will stipulate that the children have to spend 72 hours confined in the house they grew up in to get the inheritance. "The Celebration" is a family comedy that covers the seventy-two agonizing hours the estranged siblings are forced to spend together in order to get their inheritance. From jilted fiancés to their ex-convict mother, from stale food to sibling rivalry, from an unscrupulous lawyer to an enraged gangster, from ghostly apparitions to family secrets, it's going to be the longest 72 hours of their lives.
- The real life, uncensored, behind the scenes peek at the production of City Sharks. From the literal blood, sweat and tears, to the eventual lawsuit and release of the film.
- Romance, betrayal, redemption, guilt, lust, honor, innocence, depravity, pride, angst and a tornado. Random Acts features eight individual and personal stories that cover an extensive gamut of emotions, comedy and drama whilst maintaining universal themes and emotions in an experimental series. Starting with a bang, Random Acts tells stories that move from the depraved to the mysterious to desperate to twists of fate to twists of logic. Random Acts will balance action, romance, humor and drama with art, suspense, tragedy and horror. The series is a roller coaster ride of action and emotion. From the comedy of errors in Gifted Criminals to the bitter sweet father-son drama The Television to taking a walk on the grungier and seedier side of Singapore life in Singapore Unplugged to the psychological thriller The Locked Room to dysfunctional-behavior and lies galore in Family Feud to the breaking point of tension and repression in Office Hours to the perfection of wedded bliss in Unhappily Ever After to the road blocks standing in the way of would-be filmmakers trying to break into the big leagues in God Hates Movies. Random Acts is a stylized, content-driven program, where every episode is given a hand-held feel, and where the camera rarely stops moving. With in your face and edgy content, where each episode is filmed almost exclusively at one key location and with 7 main and 4 supporting actors playing various roles over the eight episodes, the experimental series will be unlike any shows before it.
