- One year after previous game, Ryu Hayabusa meet a CIA agent who informs him of an attack on the Hayabusa Village by the Black Spider Ninjas, who wish to steal the Demon Statue they possess and protect.

Dynasty Tactics allows players to play as Liu Bei, Cao Cao and Sun Ce, while Dynasty Tactics 2 adds Lü Bu as an unlockable playable character.
