- Tigtone, a hero obsessed with epic adventures, embarks on a quest given by a Ghost Wizard to deliver seeds to a blacksmith. On his way he encounters all manner of characters and situations. A parody on tropes and clichés of the fantasy genre.
- Be A Man is a documentary that follows comedian Ray Harrington on his journey to discover what it means to be a Modern Man before the birth of his son.
- Factory Accident Sex is a sampler of Minneapolis comedian / personality / malcontent Rich Kronfeld's best material. Rich has been more widely known as Wally Hotvedt, co host of Comedy Central's Let's Bowl, or as twitchy industrialist, Dr. Sphincter. This is a view into the life of a warped, unemployable comedy mind. This menu driven DVD offers a hilarious look at some of Rich's finer comic moments. It is written and produced by Minneapolis comedy writers whose projects include Let's Bowl and Mystery Science Theater 3000.
- Maria Bamford performs her critically acclaimed one-woman show at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis.
- The deeper the truths, the deeper the laughs: it's a truism that applies especially so with David Heti's new release, "It Was OK." Not the set-the set is exceptional-but the experience of Heti's life, of telling jokes he writes at 4am in a cloud of existential dread, well, that's okay. Collective, social suffering and comedic catharsis? That's okay, too. Heti's truths cut close to the bone, hewing to the reality of life in all its complexity and madness. Exhibit A? A former lawyer with the Justice Department of Canada, Heti was actually "let go" by the federal government when it was determined that continuing his stand-up would constitute a conflict of interest. Ordered to cease and desist either the stage or the law, Heti (likened to a "darker Woody Allen," which, given "Love and Death," says a lot) refused to let anyone restrict his comedic voice. So, as he takes the stage, introduced as "slightly unstable" and "hobo-looking," more cleric than comic-subversive, transgressive, impudent, philosophical-Heti is at home in the disquiet of uncertain, thoughtful laughter. Taking on the most untouchable subjects, he's confident, sincere, and attentive as only a comedian, prosecutor, bioethicist, and professor could be.
- Gut busting humor, entertaining and funny!
- See what it really takes to try and make it as a stand-up comedian as Chicago comic Mike Stanley heads to Boston to compete in the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival. If he wins he will take home the grand prize of $10,000 and a national T.V. spot. This independent documentary displays both the genius and truly hard work of blue collar comics, and the reality behind the laughs. This is the story of one comic, one festival, and lots of dirty jokes.
- Hundreds of years after his ancestors were exiled from Spain, comedian Daniel Lobell goes back to the country to perform his stand-up comedy special and learn more about his Sephardic heritage.
- Keith Lowell Jensen delivers a true paradox as an Atheist that loves Christmas. Watch him makes jokes about a holiday that many love and also love to hate - an absolutely hilarious Christmas miracle, or the scientific equivalent thereof.
