- In Autumn 1995, invited by organizings, the director Rob Rombout finds out the amazing festival of documentary film of Perm in Russia: FLAHERTYANA 1995. He is the only foreign director among Russian directors, with their regard, and their approach of the Russia today that is still confronted to a heavy political past and a cultural aura staying rich. Re-invited in 1998 by this festival, he decides to realize a documentary film, with a DV-Cam, which proposes a selection of testimonies of this Russian directors met by Rob, the director, and illustrated by extracts of their movies.
