- Laura suffers from the eating disorder bulimia. The reason for this is her unhappy childhood and youth and the unstable relationship with her mother. When she falls in love with the graffiti artist Simon, she hides her OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder) from him, but her health improves when she is with Simon.
