- A little girl named Nancy has a life-sized doll called Susie, that she treats like her own sister. One day Nancy's parents are driving with Susie in backseat to pick up their daughter from her grandparents, when they involved in a crash. Thanks to their seat belts, the couple escapes with little injury, but Susie the doll is "injured". We than cut to a collision simulation using crash test dummies to represent adults and dolls that look like Susie to represent children and infants. The results from the tests, come to the conclusion of what happens when young children are not wearing seat belts or strapped in properly. We cut back to Nancy and her parents and learn that her father has had installed seat belts in the backseat as a result of the crash. Susie has also been repaired and she and Nancy are properly strapped in as the car drives off on another journey.

Remarks by the heads of the AMA and PHS open the film, and doctors are shown lecturing and describing symptoms and indications of primary and secondary syphilis. Clinical techniques for examining patients and testing for syphilis are shown. Recommended treatments including arsenic, bismuth, and mercury for various manifestations and duration of disease are presented. This film includes explicit images of affected genitalia.
- Childhood friends Mary Lee and Vera receive two different versions of the 'birds and the bees' from their mothers: Mary Lee gets the facts; Vera gets a prudish fairytale version. Their lives separate after graduation, Mary Lee becomes a nurse who falls in proper love with a Doctor, whereas Vera follows her mother's advice and seeks to marry a rich man, but falls for the unlawful, syphilitic charms of a wealthy cad. Mary Lee and her Doctor rescue Vera and help her get proper care after a series of revelations showing actual patients of the loathsome disease. Finally, Mary Lee and her new husband volunteer to help our boys fighting the Huns in France.
