Luv'in the Black Country
The Black Country is located in the West Midlands of England and was referred to as "The Cradle of the Industrial revolution".
Some say that it was called the "Black Country" due to the black smoke that flooded the small isolated towns.
The Primary Method of transporting the industrial goods from the Black Country to the rest of England was through its famous canal routes.
LuvÂ’in the Black Country is a short cinematic documentary that travels down the romantic Black Country canals speaking to five different people who pass along the way about the first time they fell in love. The film is a lyrical love letter to the Black Country, its people and their fading identity.
