Fury Road set the bar very high indeed, but this comes close in it's own way. Obviously it's the story of Furiosa and how she became who she is.
The previous Fury Road had the advantage of introducing us to new characters for the first time. It also had an excellent leading duo in the form of Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron who both had brilliant on screen charisma.
Once again, the action sequences in this film were equally good with . As you would expect, we see lots more death and destruction in Wasteland, with some new creative methods being used.
Furiosa proves to be as tough as they come and smart at the same time. We feel her torment and desire to extract some much needed vengeance.
It's a solid action film, especially if you like motorbikes. Best seen in the cinema but otherwise turn the volume up on the TV.
