A Murder at the End of the World (2023)
Another masterpiece that questions mankind in the modern sense
A philosophical mystery, drama, and love story about a Gen Z detective, and writer, who finds herself in a retreat with the most intelligent people in the world. A Murder At The End Of The World is a refreshing story that features heartbreaking retrospection (akin to the movie The Menu, but stars "Elon Musk and Grimes"), a dense plot that is surprising and unpredictable based on SOLID FACTS and evidence that is realistic and makes perfect sense (calling for many dramas out there that fools you with poor reasoning), that take extremely nuanced elements including AI, future of mankind, a fantastic score and soundtrack into account, with beautiful performance from every single character. BE WARMED, this masterpiece created by Brit and Zal, like their other creations, incorporates bold ideas that require thinking, pondering, and reflecting, this time, with a satisfactory ending that tells a cautionary tale. In this sense, this is no stranger to The OA, Another Earth, and other works by the duo.
Silo (2023)
Intricately Balanced
I can confidently say that this is a wild and thrilling ride! From the very first episode, I was completely immersed in the mind-bending inquiries about existence and the enigmas that unfolded before me. The show's unique blend of science fiction and mystery made for a captivating viewing experience that left me on the edge of my seat.
As I eagerly await the upcoming edisodes, I can only hope that they continue to deliver the same level of storyline. The show's ability to keep me guessing and constantly questioning what was happening is a testament to the brilliant writing and direction. The characters were complex and well-developed. Each character touched on concept of the SILO in different ways that left me pondering for hours after the episode ended. It truely has a way of seamlessly blending science fiction and existentialism that is truly unparalleled.
If you're a fan of riveting mysteries and captivating sci-fi tales, SILO is an absolute must-watch. It's a rare gem that manages to be both entertaining and intellectually stimulating at the same time. So, if you're looking for a journey that will take you to the very edges of the unknown, this is perfect!
The OA (2016)
The most well written and exquisite filmed series ever
Season 2 just keep getting better and more interesting, why would you let the storyline hanging like this? The filming technique is even better than Servant on Apple TV+, and after seeing all the contents on Apple TV+, I really think it would be perfect if they picked this up, if possible. I'll wait for this coming to an end till I'm dead, or Netflix bye bye.
Dickinson (2019)
People don't get this just like The OA, this is the best comedy I have seen in a long time.
Comedy can be bold, fresh, eye opening. Who said it has to be the same as the history. And yes, to all the haters out there, don't just leave bad reviews to tell people this is not a peace of art cause you can't understand it or don't get it you didn't even watch the whole series. TBH this happens a lot, The OA and it's ratings are the perfect example.
Absurd Planet (2020)
The best for families
TBH it's the best for the whole family to watch. Funny and learning.
Home Before Dark (2020)
Pretty good overall
My only complains is the public opinion is a bit too biased.
Amazing Stories (2020)
Some plot twists but flat stories overall at least for now
Episode 2 is a bit boring, but 1 and 3 are pretty good.
