Don't Worry Darling (2022)
The Matrix with a "Great Gatsby" skin on it.
The movie chooses style over substances approach, which did work to a certain extent. Its pretty predictable, however still very much enjoyable thanks to the style and cinematography. Also there is a lot of easter eggs dropped here and there if you pay close enough attention. Try to enjoy the scenery, since the pacing of the movie isn't very fast.
Preformance wise, Florence knocks it out of the park just like she did in Midsommar. A lot of scenes heavily depend on her and her facial expressions.
While Harry styles preformance feels more like a side character instead of a main one. Its not terrible, but it doesn't add much to thr movie. However overall the cast feels solid enough to carry the movie.
The Guilty (2021)
So what if its a remake!
Most people haven't even seen the original one and frankly thats okay.
Jake's performance carries this movie to a whole new level. The movie shines by putting the viewer into a tense situation and making them feel powerless due to lack control.
The Master (2012)
Uncomfortabley brilliant
Joaquin's performance puts you at unease thanks to its naked realism. However, this edginess is also achieved through out the movie thanks to the camera angles always feeling odd (on purpose), to add another layer of malaise to the viewers.
Allied (2016)
Deserves better than 7.1 for sure
Movie doesn't only have an interesting story but also have beautiful scenes and frames.
Brad Pitt's preformance can not go unnoticed.
The movie is able to capture intensity of being a spy.
