A Million Little Things: No One Is to Blame (2021)
A general frustration...
I love this show and I think they tackle social issues amazingly well. I agree with the other review of this episode that this is the only other show that really gets to me besides TIU. Yet, I would like to add a different perspective to Eddie's side. They are making him out to be this horrible person because he took pain medication after being hurt all because he has a history with addiction. I am REALLY disappointed at this perspective and I hate that it's being pushed. He is not the bad guy. If anything I doubt he would of have done all the secretive stuff he did if his wife would have been more understanding of his pain management needs, and not shamed him for being in pain. If anything Katherine's behavior could have triggered the addictive behavior with her response to pain medication. He is in a wheel chair! Addicts feel pain too and with a monitored pain management system they can be treated for it just like the rest of us and should not be shamed for. This story line just really got to me. I know it's fiction, but they could have wrote their divorce for any reason other than demonizing addiction.
Altered Carbon (2018)
How to kill a show...
If you want a guide on how to take a 10/10 fantastic SciFi show in S1 and completely murder everything wonderful about it until it is an absolutely boring piece of TV garbage in S2 ...watch this.
Why Women Kill (2019)
It's Excellent
Put your views of the world aside and enjoy this show for what it is. Good story telling. The world is different now than it was 20, 30, even 50 years ago, but some things stay the same love, anger and revenge. I see that in this story and the first episode drew me and had me wanting more. Can't wait to watch the rest of the season.
