Fire Country (2022)
Take a page from Chicago Fire
I love Billy Burke, Matt Thieriot and. Kevin Alejandro, but the writing is something to be desired. You need to show more action with the fires, how hard the training is, women need to look strong, not just pretty. I do agree with other raters, too much teen drama. Having watched Matt as a Seal, it's hard to see him being so emotional and wearing his heart on his sleeve. Some characters don't have chemistry together, they are more stiff and awkward in their roles. The weed grower listening to anyone and willingly giving up and going to prison over not shooting anyone and doing what was best for him and his operation was so badly written. Things are resolved too easily. I can tell when a new series is lacking something and this one is. Watch a few seasons of Chicago Fire, see what makes that show a success and then do research on wildfires and talk to the real firefighters that fight them every day to get realism. You have some great actors and you are wasting them. They should not have killed off Clay on Seal Team 6, if they don't have better writing, this show will be cancelled soon. I will keep watching because of the 3 actors I mentioned and I hope things get better.
Warning (2021)
Awful movie
I watched this movie because of Thomas Jane and he had a nothing part. The movie was confusing and not connected to each smaller plot. Didn't make sense.
Oz the Great and Powerful (2013)
Oz the Not so Great and Powerful
I went to this film with my 11 year old daughter and had high expectations. Within the first 30 minutes of the film I could tell that James Franco was a bad choice for Oz. It was so easy to tell that he just couldn't get into the part and couldn't pretend that animated characters were actually in front of him. He was not invested in his character and could not make it believable. If he can't act like this whole adventure is real, then how are we supposed to enjoy the film? I became very bored, very quickly and very irritated that I had wasted my time and money on a movie that had fallen flat. I did enjoy Tony Cox as James's side kick and Rachel Weisz as the witch Evanor and the animated China Doll. Michelle Williams and Mila Kunis were not very good in their parts and I feel they were miscast as well. This film could have been very good with the right cast. I can tell when my daughter gets bored or distracted in a movie that does not hold her attention as she climbs onto my lap and she did this in this movie. Sure sign that the movie was a disappointment.

Great movie
I loved this movie and watched it with my daughter. I am a big Timothy Dalton fan and that is what drew me to watch it in the first place. Tim is very light-hearted and a fun loving, easy going father in this movie - a big change from what he usually plays (drama, historical characters). Although I am loving him in "CHUCK". Nastassja Kinski is also very good in her role as a straight laced food geneticist. The kids are very good actors and the fact that two single parents with kids going on vacation and get stuck having to share a condo is very funny and heart warming to watch. Seeing how two families who are strangers, being forced to live together and getting to know each other and the chaos that ensues will make anyone smile. Two thumbs up for this movie.
