Smoke a fatty before watching this one and hold on for the ride. I loved it! The way this was presented kept me engaged throughout and I really felt like I was living a night in our world from a being who has absolutely no concept of humanity or what it's like. Plus the soundtrack was killer.

I went into this expecting slightly better than a mediocre movie and was blown away. Dark, intellectual humor, great character development, perfectly paced change in tone, flawless acting - what more could you want? This movie is definitely going on my favorites list.

The writing in this movie is so good! The characters and their conversations felt so real. Very entertaining. Don't miss!

I would have rather this movie been 4 hours long instead of Zack Snyder's justice league. I thought it was entertaining and pretty much what I expected, and then some. It has action, comedy, and game references that I'm glad they incorporated. I enjoyed the new character addition as well and look forward to how he develops. I think they really did a good job with this. I need the next one NOW!

I haven't seen a well made semi-campy horror/thriller movie for a while and I would be surprised if this doesn't become a cult classic. It is perfection.

I didn't even realize this was made by John Stewart until I watched it bc I like to know minimal info about a movie before I watch it but I could easily see Stewart all over it and hear his voice at times. I was nervous about a political humor movie, but it exceeded my expectations and was humorous as well as smart. I laughed my ass off while also crying inside. Perfect

That movie was so epic, I wouldn't be surprised if it became a classic! I've watched quite a few foreign films and, while usually enjoyable, there is always a little bit that is lost in translation. I didn't experience that with this film though. The story telling was amazing and the world building, characters, scenery, space battles, inclusion of multiple languages in a way that worked naturally, and subtle comedy all added up to a wonderful experience. There were so many original concepts that I loved and never a dull moment. This is a must see!

If you like horror, sci-fi, mystery, and movies that make you think, you will enjoy this film. It was very very well acted all around but Kyle Gallner (Tappert) especially stood out to me as a strong actor. Very powerful. I REALLY enjoyed the ending, unlike many other reviewers, but to each their own. It probably would have been about 5 times better though without all the cheesy -something is right behind you cue loud noise- jump scares. Once you get past that though, it's a great watch that kept me interested throughout and hit me in the feels. I highly recommend you watch for yourself.

I kind of expected a generic haunted house film with a side story of the main characters being immigrants, making it that much more difficult. What I got was so much more. A beautiful movie with good horror to match. Don't miss this film.

Good start, characters, and dialogue but I couldn't stop yelling at the IDIOTIC decisions that kept happening after things got going. So, decent movie but another horror movie that depends on constant stupidity instead of semi-intelligent people stuck in a bad situation. If that's something that doesn't bother you, I do recommend this movie though. It's just hard for me to get past.

There are a lot of great Sandler movies but there are a few that are just kind of dumb while missing the humor. This movie was hilarious! Would have given it a full 10 stars if he didn't do that stupid water boy vice though... No need brah

Probably the best movie ever created in the history of the world. My biggest regret in life is missing the band when they came to Nashville.

It's probably exactly what you expect. A cute little movie that was a bit boring and had way too many winks at the camera for my taste but, overall, not a complete waste of time and enjoyable. I would watch a sequel.

Look at the title and description of this movie and then decide if it's for you. If you like silly comedy, you'll love it. It's one of the few comedies that actually gets better as it goes along, including the credits. (pause the credits at the special thanks for some extra laughs) I was nervous at the beginning that this would be too stupid and unfunny but it gets so much better, trust me! I want the chorus to that song as my ring tone btw

I don't know what people are ejecting from a movie like this. I went in with low expectations bc I've been burned by movies like this before but I ended up very impressed by how solid a movie this is. It had a good story that I thought was easy to follow, very well written and acted, fantastic characters that you actually got to explore while interesting things were happening, and the pace was perfect throughout the entire movie. What more could you want from a good sci-fi action movie!?

Yes the villains COULD have been explored in more depth but I think the protagonists only came into contact with the lower level thugs really so it works for this situation. They were interesting enough for their roles in this movie I thought. I would LOVE to see a sequel where they hunt down the source of 'power' and have that person be a more fleshed-out villain.

Well written surprise that proves you don't need a big budget - just talented people - to make an entertaining film
