I just like it
21 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Having seen the first three parts I must say I do like this show and I don't wanna miss the upcoming episodes. Somehow I never had a dull moment watching Lucy Liu, Bonnie Somerville and the other cougars.

I think its a great mixture of glamor, betrayal, intrigues and tough business women. It is fast paced, it has good acting and it does have a plot you wanna follow from one episode to the next and you wanna know where these characters might end up.

Even if it's not that realistic (or do you know a group of successful female executives looking that good?) I like being lifted up a little (reality bites) by a show that has the right heart beat. So I'm looking forward to seeing more of the Cashmere Mafia (must have been the Cartwrights in their former life) an I give them 7 out of 10 stars.

Oh well ...

Warning: Spoilers
I didn't know what to expect ... but at the end it's just another kind of a screw ball comedy. The first half hour is a collection of jokes from the basement (that means it couldn't get worse) then there is a slight improvement during the rest of the movie. Simple plot and simple characters. There is no way to write a spoiler because there is nothing to spoil.

I really like comedies but there wasn't any funny part I could laugh about.

I wouldn't say it's a complete waste of time, it's a movie you should watch on a rainy Sunday afternoon when you got nothing else to do. Watch it and forget it.

But I have to admit the "Cougars", especially Izabella Scorupco and Carolyn Hennesy, are eye candy .... great looking (that's why I give 4 stars instead of 0).

Damages (2007–2012)

Best TV series I've seen in years
29 October 2007
Suspense from the first minute of the pilot to the last minute of episode 13. Don't trust anybody and nothing is what it seems. Very tricky story about law, murder and money and an excellent casting. It's not like other TV shows, one story per episode, its more like a mini series in thirteen parts, don't miss a single one.

Excellent acting by Glenn Close, Rose Byrne and Tate Donovan. I wonder if there will be a season 2 because I don't know how they can keep up with this one. But still there are some questions to be answered.

So if you missed Damages watch out for the rerun, it's worth every minute. And I'd like to mention that when I'm watching TV I don't try to find holes in the plot or to look out for goofs so it could be that I've got carried away a little bit.
