NEED MILITARY ADVISORS
rickbergphd22 April 2019
I CONCUR WITH PREVIOUS REMARKS. THE ALLEGED LT. COMMANDER WEARS THE RANK INSIGNIA OF A LTJG, NOT A LTCMDR . . . OBVIOUS RIGHT OFF. ALSO HAD LINE OFFICER INSIGNIA RATHER THAN JAG. AND SURFACE WARFARE OFCR INSIGNIA. CAN'T YOU FIND SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE WHO HAS A BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF MILITARY UNIFORMS? AND A HAT THAT ACTUALLY FIT WOULD HAVE MADE HIM LESS COMICAL . . . I KEPT WAITING FOR IT TO FALL OVER HIS EARS COMPLETELY. THE FINAL SALUTING INDOORS WAS OUT OF REGS . . . AND THE MEDAL PINNED ON THE DEFENDANT OFCR AT THE END: REALLY? I MEAN: ***REALLY***?

Know your rank

Good episode but they keep referring to the one officer as a lieutenant commander when his rank is clearly a lieutenant junior grade. This kind of mistake should never have happened.

Know your ranks.

Warning: Spoilers
As others have previously wrote, yoy refered to a Lieutenant Junior Grade as a Lieutenant Commander. On top of that blunder, you showed a picture of a 1st Class Petty Officer wearing a Chief Petty Officer/Officers dress blue jacket. That was bad enough, but he had an officer's hat on. I found this to be so off the charts, I quit watching and canceled my DVR from recording the show. As a retired 1st Class Petty Officer, I found this totally insulting. A little research could have avoided these very obvious blunders.

Poor military advisors for this episode

...and the JG's cap is ridiculously large. This episode is an embarrassment. Also, toward end, a host of Naval officers were saluting uncovered, indoors.

Know Staff Insignia

In addition to referring to the young black officer as "Commander" when he wears Lieutenant Junior Grade stripes, his uniform indicates he is a line officer, with a Surface Warfare Officer breast insignia.
