In the new version, 4400 overlooked, undervalued, or otherwise marginalized people — two of them played by Joseph David-Jones and Khailah Johnson — who vanished without a trace over the last hundred years are all returned in an instant, having not aged a day and with no memory of what happened to them. As the government races to analyze the potential threat and contain the story, the 4400 themselves must grapple with the fact that they’ve been returned with a few…upgrades, and the increasing likelihood that they were all brought back now for a specific reason.

Exclusive: Child actor Seth Carr has joined Netflix series Free Rein as a series regular for the third season.
Carr, who has starred in series including Amazon crime drama Bosch, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Black Panther, will join the Netflix series, which is produced by All3Media-owned British producer Lime Pictures.
He will star as Aaron, a cowboy enthusiast who can easily be distracted and this often gets him into trouble.
The show follows a 15-year-old girl from La who spends the summer at her mom’s childhood home on an island off the coast of the UK, where she bonds with a mysterious horse. Its first two seasons have featured 10 episodes with two specials and the third season is set to launch this year.

Apparently, good things come in pairs. Today, Nickelodeon announced that their Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Knight Squad TV shows have each been renewed for second seasons.
The cable channel aired a sneak peek of the new animated Ninja Turtles series on July 20th but season one won't begin airing regularly until September 17th. There are 26 installments in the first season and they've ordered another 26 episodes for season two.
A live-action fantasy comedy series, Knight Squad launched in February 2018 and 13 half-hours have aired thus far. It's currently off the schedule but there are supposedly another seven episodes left in the first season. Today, Nickelodeon announced they'd ordered just 10 new episodes for season two.

Nickelodeon also renewed four other series including Season 5 of “Henry Danger,” Season 2 of “Knight Squad,” Season 3 of “The Dude Perfect Show,” and Season 3 of “Hunter Street.”
During their session at the Television Critics Association today, YouTube shared that “Impulse,” “Step Up: High Water,” “Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television,” “Kevin Hart: What the Fit,” and, as was previously announced, “Cobra Kai,” have been renewed for a second season. The series will all return in 2019, as will “Mind Field” for Season 3 and “Foursome” for Season 4.

Ahead of the series premiere, Nickelodeon has ordered a 26-episode second season of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The announcement was made as part of Viacom’s presentation today at TCA. The network also picked up a fifth season of Henry Danger, the No. 1 kids show on TV in the key demo; live action Knight Squad for a second season, along with Season 3 renewals of Hunter Street and The Dude Perfect Show.
