Porter+Craig Film and Media Distribution, run by veteran industry executives Jeff Porter and Keith L. Craig has acquired worldwide rights to Gonçalo Galvão Teles’ “Nothing Ever Happened.”
The film has enjoyed considerable success on the festival circuit, including awards in the CinEuphoria Awards, Cinequest, Chicago Latino Film Festival, Mostra Internacional de São Paulo and Punta Del Est Film Festival in Uruguay, as well as 11 nominations in the Portuguese Film Academy’s Sophia Awards.
Produced by Luis Galvão of Portugal’s Fado Filmes and co-produced by Raquel Morte and Antonio Gonçalves Junior, the pic is a co-production between Fado Filmes, Entre Chien et Loup (Belgium) and Grafo Audiovisual (Brazil).

Goldove Entertainment’s latest sci-fi thriller, “Lumina” has been acquired by Porter+Craig Film and Media, and is set to premiere with a wide-release theatrical campaign this summer.
Gino McKoy wrote and directed the film the filmmaker and shot it entirely in Morocco.
“Lumina” follows Alex, whose relationship with his dream girl Tatiana ends in a flash of a blinding light. Completely traumatized by the situation, Alex desperately sets off with his friends and conspiracy theorists to discover what really happened to his girlfriend. While traveling through the desert, Alex and his friends are faced with the unexpected, pushing the group to fight for their lives.
“Lumina” stars Eric Roberts, Rupert Lazarus as Alex and Eleanor Williams as Tatiana, with additional cast members hailing from Hollywood to London. The film is produced by David Seychell, Gino, Lynda and Hudson McKoy. Academy Award-winning editor Thom Nobel serves as the production’s editor.

Toronto and La-based Goldove Entertainment has brought on Jeremiah Chechik to direct its thriller Little Mizz Innocent.
Goldove and Chechik are finalising a cast list ahead of an anticipated 2017 shoot; Christopher Plummer is already signed to play the antagonist.
The story centres on a seemingly innocent Un interpreter caught up in a war between the FBI and a criminal dynasty.
Chechik directed 2013 rom-com The Right Kind Of Wrong with Ryan Kwanten and has worked extensively in TV in recent years on the likes of Criminal Minds, Gossip Girl and Helix.
Goldove president and CEO Lynda McKoy is also lining up Area 51 sci-fi horror Lumina, described as being in the vein of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind and Chronicle.
