- TriviaThis is a crossover episode with Legends of Yesterday (2015) (Arrow season 4, episode 8) as a back-door pilot for the spin-off series DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016).
- GoofsWhen Harrison Wells and Caitlin Snow are discussing how to improve Harrison's speed-enhancing formula, Caitlin proposes a chemical compound to provide oxygen: sodium chloride. Sodium chloride is ordinary table salt. It consists only of the elements sodium and chloride, no oxygen. There is no way adding this to Harrison's formula could provide oxygen. Actually, Caitlin Snow didn't say Sodium Chloride, that is NaCl without any Oxygen. She actually said Sodium Chlorate, NaClO3, which does have Oxygen, so it can decompose to give Sodium Na, Chloride Cl, and Oxygen O2. It is a smart choice because it has 3 times Oxygen than it has Sodium or chloride.
- Quotes
Barry Allen: Wow. Nice new digs. Also, I just noticed, no sleeves. Don't you get cold?
Oliver Queen: I spent the better part of five years on an island in the North China Sea. I don't get cold, Barry.

Crazy Crossover
So, it's time for that thing that the Flash show always does a few times in a season! No, not a Rogues episode. A crossover. Duh. So yeah, this was a pretty fun crossover that, however, raises some questions. Now there are metahumans and immortal beings in this universe? In the Flash show, they always explain metahuman stuff by science. So magic is real now? How would Caitlin react? I did enjoy the episode, though. I loved Kendra's character devlopment and they were able to make such a frightening villain with Vandal Savage. Like they made him sound legit unstoppable, so every time Flash and Arrow battled him, I was legit scared for the heroes. Great job there. I'm a little bit dissapointed that this thing continues in Arrow since I'm not watching the show, but that's just my problem, not the episode's. I hope I won't miss any of the important Flash stuff by not watching the continuation, though. Speaking of important Flash stuff, while the Flash S2 main story wasn't the focus of this episode, it was there. I loved seeing more of Jay Garrick's character and his interactions with Wells. Although yeah, there were some stuff I didn't like here, like the overuse of slow motion or some extremely forced lines like 'We still have to stop Vandal Savage' out of nowhere at the end of the episode. And while I love Wells's actor's acting, the scene of him being shot wasn't well played. However, there's not much bad stuff here and that's just me nitpicking. Loved Barry's interactions with Felicity and I'm really excited for what the Flash will have in store next.
