Get me someone to shoot at!
Did I say in my review of the previous episode that we were for a change of pace and that we were over with the globetrotting adventures where all the bad guys had funny accents? Silly me! I should have known better.
Chandler and the others discover a hospital-ship. They have the chance to meet some scientists and speed the production of the vaccine. Great news! Well, not so fast...
"The Last Ship" has decided that tension is not for them, but pure and unabashedly crazy action is. And, maybe surprisingly, maybe not, they are offering action packed episodes that are lots of fun, with good direction, rhythm and atmosphere, making nice use of the locations, and just tripping over itself once in a while with the zero accuracy of some of the characters (cough, extras playing bad people, cough). The acting is good enough for what's on offer, and the characters relatable and fun to be with. And now that there is an Australian and an Israeli on the team, well, we are like the whole world in the ship (that is what multiculturalism seems to look like to the writers).
Now, if they could just make something about those thick accents...
