- TriviaDuring a flash back scene, Henry is in the Diogenes Club. This is a fictional club created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and is mentioned frequently in Sherlock Holmes novels.
- GoofsThe swastika on the base of the sculpture used as the murder weapon is a standard Nazi swastika with the arms hooking to the right, as is the swastika imprinted on the scalp of Karl (the murder victim). The imprint on the scalp should have been a mirror image of a Nazi swastika, with the arms hooking to the left.

I loved this episode
I do no agree with the previous reviewer.
I found the flashbacks interesting, the crime of the week was gripping enough and provided the perfect vehicle for the relational aspects of the episode
This story was emotionally affecting and ultimately uplifting , the relationships between Henry and Abe, alway given such special attention in the show were played with pitch perfection and revelations about Adam actually made him a much more rounded and even dare I say, more human.
Without spoiling this , Judd Hirsch was truly wonderful in this and supporting cast also created a good foil for Ioan Gruffudd and Burn Gorman as nemesis stood toe to toe for the first time !
Cannot recommend it more highly!
