- TriviaThe test for the cadets is similar to the Box from Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) as well the training flashbacks in Jedi: Fallen Order (2019). It can therefore be presumed that training facilities changed very little in the time between the Clone Wars era Republic and the Rebellion era Empire.

Definitely one of the more dull episodes of this season. The sixth episode of this rather great series was not what I had hoped for. Instead of doing something that could have furthered the story, we got an episode that was mainly focused on showing Ezra in a different setting than we have seen him in before: a cadet. I think most of the new characters were kinda good, and I liked that Ezra learned that the hard things need to be done to get what's needed, but I also felt like the training sequences were too unrealistic as training exercises. I didn't fully get what they would actually achieve from these exercises, but that might be expanded on later. And I thought that the episode lacked the other players a whole bunch. I like Ezra and I think he is a good character, but I don't really care about him on his own yet. He has a lot to learn and I hope that future episodes will keep him with the rest for a little. It wasn't a bad episode, necessarily, but it was the most disappointing episode of the series this far. Greg Weisman is a good writer, but I don't think he has had a truly remarkable episode yet.
