- TriviaAs part of the tradition initiated by Eric Bischoff in 1995, WCW commentator Tony Schiavone used the live "WCW Monday Nitro" to give away the ending of the taped "Raw," sarcastically saying, "Yeah, that'll put asses in seats!" Which, of course, it did, as "Raw" crushed "Nitro" in the ratings. Although "Nitro" lasted until March 26, 2001, this is generally pointed to as the night that the "Monday Night Wars" truly ended, as all "Nitro" could come up with for a main event was the infamous Hulk Hogan-Kevin Nash Fingerpoke of Doom.
