Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaThe planet that Sylar Saris, Fennec Shand's target, is hiding on is not identified. However it bears a strong resemblance to Quesh, a planet introduced in Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011). Quesh is a planet in Hutt Space covered in toxic swamps with a poisonous atmosphere due to a series of powerful groundquakes that caused huge fissures to form and release toxic substances from deep inside the planet, rendering it uninhabitable to most life. During the Great Galactic War (3681-3653 BBY) a Republic chemist discovered that the toxins on Quesh could be refined into potent combat adrenals that enhanced a soldiers strength, speed, stamina and inhibited pain. This led to the planet being a battleground with the Republic, the Sith Empire and the Hutt Cartel all fighting to gain control of the planets resources.

Hitting the brakes on the pacing
This episode takes things much slower than the past few have, and there's a lot less action, but it has some pretty good moments, too. We split the party between an A and a B plot, which I think gives each of them a better opportunity to shine as individuals and to develop their dynamics, but I think the episode could have done a bit more character work with that time, especially with Hunter and Wrecker.
Because of the week break between episode releases, the slower pace can be a bit frustrating, but I think in the context of the whole season, having a couple episodes dedicated to setup and character work helps keep things from becoming tiring.
This isn't an episode you can skip, but it's probably the one I feel the least inclined to watch again in the near future.
