Movie is let down by the acting calibre of the supporting cast. Loud reactions and overacting are the fallback of every average actor. This was abundantly evident as the movie progressed. Though the Directors tried to hide the possible murder suspect, but if you have watched enough Bollywood movies there are ample clues to zero in on the possible culprit. Manoj Bajpaye has his familiar eccentric style of acting, so you could say he was his efficient self. The direction and the narrative wasn't taut enough to keep the audience captivated. This is the kind of movie you could watch on a lazy, rainy Saturday afternoon, where you have nowhere to go and nothing to watch.

Nothing was binding not the storyline nor the direction. I dont understant how someone can make such ordinary crime thriller with souc good actors. It looked liked they were in some sort of hurry to reqch the end. Some of the scenes are just unbelievably stupid. One can not recognize a female just as she wears a wig and coughs constantly did she never spoke a single word with any of them? And yes shealready killed 10 people so professionally her brother could have been 11 th victim to get the property well if yiu can escape 10 murders so easily 11 wont make much difference. Mr. Supercop got the case clue from a matchbox was unbelivable.

A decently made thriller movie with a solid performance from Manoj Bajpayee. The other cast members also do well and thankfully there is no overacting from them. The case builds up as the movie progresses and it might seem like a slow burner for some viewers but it doesn't become boring at all. The plot is well laid out but one might feel that towards the end when the main culprit is caught it is a bit far fetched. But that's for the viewer to decide. The movie does focus on an important topic and stays true to that.

Besides Bajpayee's smooth acting one other person who definitely caught my attention is Parul Gulati. She acted well and played her part with witch such finesse. Will definitely like to see more of her in future movies.

This is a movie definitely worth a watch.

Film Review: Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout streaming on Zee5!!

A shootout at a Bar in Mumbai resulting in the deaths of 10 people including an influential political party member .. A decomposed body of a young girl found in Jaipur !! Are these 2 cases related? Are things actually the way they are made to seem ? Well... that's a puzzle for ACP Verma ( Manoj Bajpayee) and his team from the SCU ( Special crimes unit) to solve !!

The film starts off on a promising note with Manoj Bajpayee, Prachi Desai & Co. From the SCU thrown on the thick of things right from the word go. However as the story progresses, flaws in the script begin to appear and if u r a wee bit observant ( like yours truly 😁) u will guess the killer well before the climax !!

Manoj Bajpayee gives it his all to make the character of ACP Verma human and relatable!!

He is the one to watch out for and the guy doesn't let the "common man" down 🙂 Prachi Desai, a great actor is unfortunately reduced to a character artist just like in Silence1.

In this case a weak script lets the film down . The climax ... really makes u feel as if u r watching a Ekta Kapoor serial !! Having said that.. the film has its moments , especially the investigative part where Bajpai & his team try and find a correlation between the cases . That was enjoyable!

When u compare this film to its predecessor, Silence1, it falls short of expectations as the bar had been set high !! As the ending has been left open for a sequel, the writers need to iron out the rough edges and come up with something more innovative!!

A one time watch .. cudve been better though !!

The entire movie is let down by everyone including the director except Manoj. This could have been a lot lot better. I had watched silence 1 when it came out and it was a good film. But this utterly disappoints. The acting....is a complete disaster, and so is the way it is directed and the way the entire story is planned. The antagonist is irritating, not because she is convincing in her role, but because she is trying too hard and its not coming out of her. The mad guy shouldn't even have get the roll of this disaster movie. I dont know what stuff did the creators of this movie smoked while making it. This looks like an extended cheap tv serial.

Such an amazing & engaging crime thriller. I was a treat to watch. The story gradually increased the suspense & continued till the last breathe. Manoj Bajpai as well is spentabulous. His acting speaks louder with each films & webseries. Prachi Desai have done a decent job. The turns & twist was spectacular. Best suspense crime thriller for 2024 with a proper story line & morality. 2hours 22 minutes was a treat to watch. Sab bata diya to dekhoge kya.. I would urge the films critics to watch this specially. And a very good movie for crime thriller lovers. I just loved every bit of it. Do watch it.

There is nothing to watch in the movie! I was watching it because of Manoj Bajpayee as he is a great actor and I was expecting that there must be something good at least his acting! But, when the direction is disappointing then what can we expect from the any execution in a movie.

Dialogues and their delivery is also worst. The story is fast paced and doesn't create any impact on the audience. The other characters in the movie tried hard but, could not deliver the emotions! It seems they have been acting forcefully.

Last but, not the least the reason behind doing all these murder is the worst part of the movie. The cause could have fitted some where else but it seems the people other than the actors were taking substance.

Although I do not write reviews but, I need to do it so please don't waste you time as I am wasting mine to save yours. Thank me later :)

P. S., I have a huge respect for Manoj Sir and all the main characters in the movie. They are great. But, I will to watch someone poop instead of watching SILENCE 2.

This film is an absolute rollercoaster of suspense, intrigue, and plot twists. As a murder mystery lover, I can confidently say this is a must-watch. From the very start, it keeps you guessing, and just when you think you've figured it out, another twist comes your way. The acting in the film by primary and secondary cast is extremely good. Manoj Bajypayer Prachi Desai are very good

If you are a fan of thriller this is something that you haven't really seen before it's not the usual cop and murder story.

Prepare to be on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Highly recommended!!!

I watched the Movie "Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout(2024)" last night; 16th of April, 2024. It was utterly dejecting watching the Movie. The plot, the storyline, the thematic presentation and the cinematic orchestration with skill, commitment and endeavour seemed missing utterly in the entire Movie. Rather, this Movie seemed a boring repetition of the same theme; the so-called genre of Crime-Thriller experimented in several Indian movies in the recent past. However, nothing substantive or unique seemed to exist in the whole movie as far as expectation from the so-called cat and mouse race is concerned in such movies. The duel between the police and the criminal is also inconclusive. As the point 'Art for Art's Sake' is a nonentity here, such movies should ensure at least two important aspects. One is definitely the larger message for the society. Another one is an innovative approach to presenting Evil. The Movie has miserably failed in all these aspects. In fact, watching the Movie could not identify whether the narrative has a head or tail at all. So also, the rampant use of abusive terms proves why dialogues have failed to establish distinctive identity of the characters. Similarly, the cocktail of English-Indian language has become the order of the Indian Movies these days as if such broken language can only ensure modernity of Indian cinema. In this movie, perhaps every third sentence is in broken English.

The Movie from the day one of its publicity depended on the stardom of Manoj Bajpayee. But the Movie proves why it is harder to sustain stardom than achieving it. The role played by Bajpayee is also very dull. In fact, Bajpayee's role too looked stereotypical as if the famous actor is not in perfect rhythm. This becomes evident if the present Movie is compared with Silence-1. The filmmaker should ponder that the mere stardom of anyone does not ensure the success of a Movie. It requires the attributes to satisfy the aesthetic pleasure. Only this can have a lasting impact of a work of Art. Anyway, it was waste of time watching the Movie. It is really Much Ado About Nothing.

This movie is badly directed, lazy screenplay and almost feels like a unprofessional B grade cinema. An interesting plot and amazing actor (Manoj bajpayee) was destroyed by the greed of platform cinema. It seems selling a completed movie to the plarform was more important than actually spending efforts to craft a movie. Actors lack any connect to their roles and seem to be reading off blandly. Twists in the plot are as predictable as a 90s movie. Lack of common sense in presented as obstacles for the cops. Tries very hard intermittently to raise the stake for the viewer but fails at that too.

We are never given a real shot to decipher the killer's intent or methods. Rather random twist in the end.

On acting, Manoj bajpayee tries hard but supporting cast is pale in terms of performance.

Please avoid if you are a fan of smart cinema and if you have endured it already, please join me in observing 2 mins of silence for the death of cinema at the hands of OTT platforms.

Prachi was best in serials. She does not have big screen presence and she looks pitiful in front of a master actor like Manoj Bajpayee. The others in supporting cast are pathetic too.

If you must watch something - go watch one of Manoj Bajpayee's other masterpiece creations. This movie is an insult to us the audience (for wasting our time) and to him for having to be associated with such garbage. (STOP bringing Prachi into movies like this. She isn't suited to play intense characters. Or mostly any characters at all.)

If you are the enthusiast in the crime investigation movie. Then you must watch this.. and the acting of the manoj bajpayee sir is really amazing. The story involves around the night owl bar shootout case and when ACP verma leads the case and find some surprising results in their investigation. And ACP verma along with his team try to solve the case and find the victims. ACP verma sir's team find the clues and finding all the leads to solve the case. Meanwhile good acting of manoj sir and also plots are well setted. Very thriled story you must watch this.... there is no boring story no boring scripts.

Manoj Bajpayee returns as ACP Avinash Verma with 'Silence 2' Aban Bharucha Deohans is the writer and director The film suffers from an unsteady pace and a disappointing climax. The run time of this movie is 2hrs and 40 minutes. But I assure you. You can't be borred any more if you watch this movies. But i think in my perspective the others actors except Monoj Bajpaee & Prachu Deshai.

Last of all I am cordially suggest you to enjoy Binge watch this series.

The story starts as a murder mystery and becomes thrilling towards the end. Intriguing at many parts. Few parts could have been cut short for a even compelling story.

Performances are so good. Manoj Bajpayee as usual - perfect. Prachi Desai did a clean role. Others performed well too.

The story is guessable at many parts but has surprising elements too. The antagonist also delivers a convincing performance.

Believable investigations and ending.

I do not know why this film is so underrated.

Overall a decent murder mystery film which is worth a watch if you are a fan of this genre. Go for it!

I just watched it and must say it is an excellent work done ! Manoj Bajpayee and rest of the actors have done superb role, especially Manoj Bajpayee! Very griping story and so interesting. Hope they continue bringing out new parts! Right till the end we are left at end of our seats ! Great suspense and thriller elements with nice lines thrown here and there throughout the movie. In both the movie parts Manoj as proved to be one fine actor who can taken on various roles. Even the other actors have done a fabulous job and supported Manoj well. Please make more parts and keep it as griping as these two parts!
