Thirteen year old Missy Cooper seemed awfully chill behind the wheel of George’s 1986 Ford F-250 during the latest episode of Young Sheldon — but portrayer Raegan Revord was a ball of nerves.
In an Instagram post marking Missy and Paige’s Thelma & Louise-style adventure, Revord revealed that the episode was shot just hours after she and her mother were in a car accident.

Wednesday’s Survivor episode is titled “The Third Turd,” and we’ll give you just one guess as to which castaway coined that phrase.
Yes, Carolyn was all sorts of feisty when she returned from Tribal Council, explaining to Yam Yam that the reason Sarah had to go was because she was tired of feeling like Tika’s last turd. And with the tribe down to just three players, tensions were thick, as Carolyn and Yam Yam’s relationship seemed ruined, giving Josh an inside line at becoming the swing vote.

There's never been a better time to be a fan of television. Streaming platforms have forced network television to step up their game, and the continued competition between said streamers has inspired some of the most creative approaches to both serialized and episodic entertainment. For a time, it used to be that prestige TV was reserved for the creator-driven tragic dramas of the 2000s and 2010s like "The Sopranos," "The Wire," "Lost," "Mad Men," "Breaking Bad," and "Deadwood." But now, prestige TV can encompass everything from the heartwarming adventures of "Only Murders in the Building" to the unflinching realness of "P-Valley."
It's an exciting evolution because the label of "prestige" is no longer solely relegated to shows about complicated men. Sometimes, like in the case of an edgy teen show like "Euphoria" or a cannibalism mystery thriller like "Yellowjackets," even high school girls can be at the center of must-watch TV.

A new doctor’s coming to Grey’s Anatomy as Skylar Astin (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) joins the long-running ABC drama in a recurring role.
Deadline has confirmed that Astin will appear as Todd Earnes. Charming and handsome with a gentle soul, Eames holds a PhD in environmental sciences and loves a good spreadsheet. He is close with his sister, who is a pregnant patient at Grey Sloan Memorial. He will first appear as Todd in “Put the Squeeze on Me,” which will air on March 24.
News of latest addition to the cast comes nearly a week after the series’ midseason return. Deadline exclusively learned that this week’s upcoming episode will bid farewell to Richard Flood, who appeared Dr. Cormac Hayes for three seasons.
Astin recently starred alongside Jane Levy in NBC’s Emmy-winning Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist as Max. His recent television credits also include Roku’s Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Warner Bros. Television Group announced Friday it has renewed a long-standing overall deal with Bill Lawrence, the Emmy-winning executive producer, writer, and showrunner of “Ted Lasso” and his production company, Doozer.
Lawrence, Doozer and Wbtg have been collaborating since 2011. This is his fourth contract with the company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but company reps confirmed to TheWrap that Lawrence inked a multiyear agreement. His team at Doozer includes president Jeff Ingold and vice president Liza Katzer.
As part of the deal, Lawrence will continue to develop, create, and produce original series exclusively produced by Warner Bros. Television for all platforms, including HBO Max, external streaming services, cable, and the five broadcast networks.

Bill Lawrence, the top comedy showrunner at the moment amid the enormous critical and commercial success of Ted Lasso, is staying put at Warner Bros. TV Group through 2028. After lengthy negotiations, Emmy winner Lawrence, who had a little time left on his current overall pact at the studio, has closed a blockbuster new five-year deal for his Doozer production company, I have learned. Noone is commenting but sources value the pact at more than $100 million, catapulting Lawrence in the very top tear of TV showrunners.
Like other overall agreements of that caliber in the era of Peak TV, the path to this one was not straight-forward, with some sources I spoke to calling it a wild ride. I hear Warner Bros. originally balked at Lawrence’s financial ask. Because he is still under an overall arrangement at the studio, the Scrubs creator could not go on the open market and officially test the waters.

Courteney Cox is a romance novelist with writer’s block, who gets a little spiritual help from Mira Sorvino following her family’s move to the country in the official trailer for Starz’s “Shining Vale,” which dropped Wednesday.
The series finds Cox playing Pat opposite Greg Kinnear’s Terry. They’re a couple struggling in their careers and in their marriage who bring their teenage children from Brooklyn to a quiet little town for a fresh start on life.
In the Victorian mansion the couple cashed in their savings to buy, Pat spends her days at home working on her long-long-long awaited follow-up novel to her first bestseller and wondering what’s really going on in the family’s new home, which she believes is haunted. Sorvino stars as Rosemary, a 50s housewife who might — or might not — be trying to take over Pat’s body, or possibly her...

NBC is in tune with “Perfect Harmony” executive producer Jason Winer, developing another show from Winer’s 20th Century Fox TV-based Small Dog Picture Company. The Peacock network has bought the script “Forever Family,” a comedy from writers Austen Earl and Joel Church-Cooper.

Exclusive: Shining Vale, a half-hour horror-comedy from Divorce creator Sharon Horgan, Trial & Error co-creator Jeff Astrof and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, has landed at Starz with a pilot order.
The single-camera project, from Warner Bros. TV, where Astrof is under an overall deal, was originally set up at Showtime with a pilot production commitment. I hear the CBS-owned network greenlighted the script contingent on Catastrophe co-creator/co-lead Horgan starring. She was not available, and the project was put in turnaround with multiple outlets interested. I hear Starz COO Jeffrey Hirsch was instrumental in bringing the comedy to the premium network. Starz’s sibling Lionsgate TV will co-produce with Warner bros. TV.
This is the third pilot for Horgan and Clelia Mountford’s Merman this year, joining the animated Therapy Dog at Fox, starring Lisa Kudrow with Horgan among the voice cast, and Delilah at HBO Max, headlined by Jessica Rothe.

Exclusive: Bill Lawrence and his Doozer production company are staying put at Warner Bros. TV with a new rich multi-year overall deal. Under the significant, eight-figure pact, which I hear is for five years, the company has sold a department store comedy to NBC starring and co-written by comedian Brent Morin, who starred on Doozer’s NBC comedy series Undateable.
This is Lawrence’s third consecutive deal at Wbtv where the Scrubs creator has been since 2011 when former NBC head of comedy Jeff Ingold joined him at Doozer. The two will continue to work together.
Co-written by Morin and former Undateable writer Matt Hausfater, the untitled NBC multi-camera comedy centers on Andy Hewitt (Morin) who, in a desperate attempt to prove himself to his family after losing his dream job, has no choice but to take a retail job at the world’s most fashionable department store.
Hausfater executive produces with Lawrence and Ingold.

Bradley Rubenstein: What were some of your early experiences, like school, for example, where you decided to become an artist?
Sarah Davis: My radar was, What’s the best thing to be doing when you’re 80? Where are the best-looking old people? And for me, that was obviously painters, or the art world more generally. Maybe I was close to my grandparents, or maybe it came from going to high school in L.A., where the projected end was 30. Still, painting was my identity from about age 8. Every kind of picture book, and there were tons of them, was how I spent my free time. I copied everything and made up my own. Making paintings and drawings was how I socialized, from third grade on.

Love is dumb. Love is irrational. Love defies all logical arguments against it. It can make you act in terribly self-destructive ways. It's not math. It's love, and when you feel it, nothing else matters. Which brings us to Netflix's Love, a romantic comedy series created by Judd Apatow, Lesley Arfin, and Paul Rust, starring Rust and Gillian Jacobs as a pair of Angelenos who meet awkward, date even more awkwardly, and seem determined to make a go of things despite ample evidence warning them not to. (Its 10-episode first season debuts Friday; I've watched the whole thing.) Love is messy. It's shaggy. It takes weird detours that only sometimes work, and on occasion it seems to be daring its audience to not only root against the central couple, but to question how many more episodes they might want to watch. I can see all those issues, and more. I just don't care.
