- Opening with Richard Ryans being in a deadly moment, the film transgresses to a moment of time before he is in his certain predicament. We see that before the certain opening of Richard's circumstances, that Harry Sharp is tricked by his ex-best friend into thinking that his wife, Becky Sharp, is in dire trouble on the beach. Harry, being none too pleased about certain news, gets confrontational with Richard about the situation, but ends up going along with the situation in hopes of saving his loving wife. Arriving at the beach where Richard has his plans laid out, he explains to Richard where his wife is in peril danger. Harry has some words for Richard and takes off to the beach, where he discovers a 8 foot hole and no one in it. Richard has other plans for Harry as he sticks a gun into Harry's face and orders him to get into the hole. Seeing as there is no other choice after fighting for the upper hand, Harry settles for getting buried neck deep in the sand in hopes that he can at least save his wife. All along, it is within the maniacal plans of egotistical Richard to have both of the lives of his old flame and the new love within his deadly grasp. Thinking he has left them both at the oceans tide to die and choking death, he realizes that death isn't always planned out as you might think.—Michael Gray
