The twisted minds that had a hand in bringing you such warped TV sketch shows as Human Giant, Pretend Time and Robot Chicken have conspired to take crass stop-motion comedy to the big screen withHell & Back, a horror-comedy starring Nick Swardson (Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star) and T.J. Miller (Our Idiot Brother). Here the pair play two twenty-something best buds, Remy and Augie, who are happily stuck in manchild mode, but must man up for a rescue mission once a mutual friend is mistakenly sent to hell. Variety reports Rob Riggle, who made memorable appearances in The Hangover, The Other Guys, and Human Giant, has signed on to play this hell-bound bud, who unlike Remy and Augie is willfully entering the realm of adulthood. Also joining the stop-motion feature are Michael & Michael Have Issues's Kumail Nanjiani and The Sarah Silverman Program's Brian Posehn. The stand-up comic who...

The Harmon family’s American Horror Story isn’t scaring anyone away. Quite the contrary.
FX’s freshman drama on Wednesday night hit a series high in the coveted 18-49 demo, gaining 12 percent week-to-week to score a 2.0 rating.
Opposite CSI and Svu repeats amongst network fare, Ahs‘ total viewership was also up (to 3 million), giving the frightfest its largest audience since the premiere. The show also notched an all-time high in the 25-54 demo, and thanks to a Twilight lead-in had a slightly higher-skewing female audience (55% vs the usual 52%).
Time slot rival Psych, meanwhile, also sank its teeth into significant gains,...
