Patricia Heaton's Frances "Frankie" Heck would like her kids to get along. She tries to get them to have a dinner at the table. Oh no what a horrifying thought rather than watching three kids watch the same television program on three different television sets. 13 year old Sue asks "Is Dad dying? Mom?" as she reacts to her mother's interest in bringing her family closer together. Well, she finally gets her wish when the parents play touch football with the kids in the snow outside. At first, it was cute but then it was every night between the young kids and the tired adults. Still, it got the kids along and they became a family.
