Sue Heck finally accomplishes selling thousands of dollars worth of cheese and sausage in Indiana to get to go to the state capital for a school to Indianapolis. Her mother, Frankie, wonders if she will ever find her true voice. Sue has been the kind of person that reminds me of myself. She's awkward, shy, and forgettable even by her own teachers. She's not out there like others. She has braces and comes across as kind of a nerd but she has a heart of gold and keeps trying even though that she fails to achieve something. Finally, she gets to go to Indianapolis despite the fact that her name and the check wasn't there at the headquarters. Still, Sue has her mother to help fight her battles. She is finding her voice and that's all a mother can ask for.
