We don't see much Ramy himself in this episode, but it's proof that I have invested in every character.
What can I say? I'm not Muslim, nor am I American. I'm not a bigot, nor do I intervene unnecessarily upon people or their (they) decisions. So my opinion is based purely on observation, and my gosh, this is gold.
This is possibly one of the most beautifully written pieces of comedy/drama I have ever watched.
Subtle, cringey, touching and ultimately genius. It's almost as if Ramy is so good it's out of reach for so many people and their understanding.
Ramy Youssef and the creators/writers of this show are far beyond the ability of most others.
I'm no expert but this particular episode is an absolutely brilliant portrayal of innocence with heart.
